Answer:
You will need to find someone to fabricate downrod extensions because none of the commercially made downrods are the proper diameter for this fan.

Answer:
I'm not sure what the specs say on this fan but most manufacturers allow enough wire at the fan motor to use at least a 24" down rod.

Answer:
The remote does not offer a "reverse" function. If you wish to reverse the fans direction, it must be done from the switch located on the fan base. Considering reversing the direction is more of a seasonal task - it's not much of a chore.

Answer:
No, the reverse is on top of your motor housing and needs to be switched manually. Please see page 13 of your manual: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/3b/3bcb63d5-2871-4546-b4e0-c6e1031d5558.pdf

Answer:
The fast answer is yes BUT - make certain you determine the pitch of the slope. If you don't know how - Google it. It's easy to do. The room I used this fan in is vaulted with about a 16 degree pitched slope ceiling. I used the 12" downrod and it is a perfect fit..

Answer:
Thats an odd question. It comes with a 4" and 12" downrod (clearly stated in the product description). Not certain what "center part" you're wanting to eliminate to get closer to the ceiling. If you want to install the fan without a downrod - easily done and your fan will be flush with the ceiling.

Answer:
Yes, you have been provided with a 4-1/2" downrod to use on lower ceilings without decorative scroll assembly.
You may install the fan with the decorative scroll (with 12" downrod) (Recommend min. 9ft. ceiling height).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful The fan is as beautiful as I imagined. The fan looks great and works well...but after day one, I cannot control the fan speed with the remote. The batteries are fine as I can turn the fan on and off but can only get high speed on the remote!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fan Fan works great. The light fixture design with the direction of the bulb mounting does cause a bit more heat to radiate and sink into the motor housing than Id like. Other than that its a great looking fan and is easy to install.
