How will you recharge these batteries do they have a charger?

Asked by: FloNe
Batteries ONLY, No charger the deck lights purchased have a Solar Charger built in. I believe they sell chargers separately.

is there a difference between Solar rechargables and regular rechargables?

I see some rechargables say that they are designed for Solar panels specifically, is there really a difference between them and regular rechargables?
Asked by: wujekcity
not really the Hampton batteries don't last as long. try using re-chargeable from another manufacturer use regular re-charables you get better and longer performance.everready works well

Size of original battery is odd.

Hello I bought a set of solar garden lights more then a year ago at Home Depot. The lights are getting weak in the middle of the night so I bought new HamptonBay batteries AA. Guess what? They are bigger then the original and the original has no brand and no size specification. (see pic attached) Where can I buy them? Are there any reference number for that size? Do you have it also on HD? Regards Fernando
Asked by: Fernando
These NiCad batteries are standard AA size.

NiCad Solar Rechargeable Batteries (4-Pack) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Home Depot solar lights and batteries Expensive and didn't work. Although in fairness, this may have been a problem with the solar lights themselves. I spent about $50 for a set of 6 at Home Depot, and they only lasted 2 years. I would have be better off buying the cheap ones at Target! Very disappointing.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Unhappy I think they were too old. Maybe old inventory not stored properly. I replaced the batteries in my solar lights & 2 of the batteries didn't work at all & the other 2 lasted about a week. Returning them today.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of money I would NOT recommend these. I replaced other rechargeable batteries in four of my solar pathlights. Had enough sunny days; not one of these has worked yet in a week.
