I bought these batteries but will not keep there charge and will not recharge with the sun. What am I doing wrong ?

Asked by: Baba
Try wiggling the batteries to see if they are making contact with the terminals. Maybe the item you are using the batteries for are defective and therefor not charging the product fully? I purchased Hampton Bay solar lights, and the batteries that were included in the box (Brand name Paradise) only kept my new solar lights lit for 2 hours. After installing these Hampton Bay Ni-mh 1200 mAh batteries, my lights now stay on for 8+ hours. I purchased these batteries and they work great. Hope this helps.

Can you please tell me specifically what to use to recharge the Hampton Bay solar nickel-cadmium rechargeable batteries.

Thank you.

Solar batteries are recharged in the units in which they are used such as solar pathway.lights.
