Answer:
Probably the battery from the manufacturer. It is the top of the light housing. If they are not battery powered or solar recharged battery then I would start with the bulb first. If that is good then have an electrician check the output of your electrical outlet. You may have a problem with amperage. I highly doubt that it is electrical though. Start with batteries then go to bulbs.

Answer:
Take the old ones out and use similar batteries. It usually has a model number on the side of the battery. If it doesn't then take it to your local Home Depot store and try to find an associate to help you establish what type to use.

Customer Reviews

Rated 2.5 out of 5 by 17 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Great Looking but very temperamental Product looks great, when the lights want to work, they are great. Tried replacing batteries, relocating, cleaned solar panel, etc but the lights only worked about 4-5 days out of each week. Each light had a different pattern. I have 8 lights and it's pretty rare that all 8 lights work at the same time. It's a shame because they look great and throw off the most light of any solar product I have seen. HD sent me replacements lights and the same thing happened to them. Also noticed the base spikes that go into the ground could be made better. May 27, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by All stopped working within 3 months I purchased a set of these 5 months ago. All have stopped working. The batteries are still charging and are fully charged, however lights will not turn on. Either the led lights have burned out, or the light sensor is bad. When they were working, they performed badly. Lights would sometimes be on, sometimes not, at random - even though they received full sun all day long. This is a poor and obviously untested product. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good, performs horribly So I was thrilled to buy these lights. They were by no means the least expensive lights in the store. As a matter of fact they were almost the most expensive. Upon installation of the product at home the stakes that is pressed into the ground to secure the lights was plastic and broke very easily. I have a very nice yard that is water at least once a week so the ground isn't hard and I own a construction contracting company. I broke three of the plastic stakes upon installation. Subsequently I managed to fabricate my own stakes and was able to use the lights as intended, but for only about 2 months before the batteries expired and then it was very difficult in locating replacement batteries for the lights. Overall I felt like the amount of money I paid I should have gotten much better performance. I would not recommend these lights to anyone UNLESS the manufacturer can produce a better anchoring system than the cheap plastic stakes provided. December 17, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Good Looking, Poor Quality These lights look great, but the paint pealed off the posts in about a year. Since the warrantee is only for a year, if you don't call immediately, they won't cover it. Also the stakes are weak and break easily. Better paint job on the aluminum posts and stronger stakes would make this a beautiful product, however still a little pricy. November 11, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poorly made. Out of the box one of the lights would not light. I was sent another that would not charge the battery. The rest you have to jiggle the batteries to get them to work. Made in China so you know the Quality you are getting. Look great in the day time but that about it. For the money seems they would offer better made products. i think I will not purchase any more from Hampton Bay. Money better invested elsewhere. will look for made in America. July 10, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Let me save you some money-----dont' buy these These lights look nice. However, after one week they would randomly turn off and back on the next night, even though they were all located in the same sunny area (in the middle of summer). There wasn't a rhyme or reason to them working or not and it was a guessing game on what you would end up getting at night. October 22, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Good AND Bad Bought 8 lights. Appearance is amazing! Puts out a lot of warm light. LARGE housing so looks quite substantial. Had to return/exchange a few individual lights that stopped working for no reason within first few months. Store was great about exchanging. Unfortunately, within a year the oil-rubbed bronze paint began peeling off several of the lights in BIG pieces. One ground stake snapped off/broke & is unusable. Still the nicest looking large light we've found in big-box type stores but not long-lasting. Would be best looking light out there if paint didn't peel - Home Depot is on the right track with this light but needs to tweak some of the features. Product was sold in a brushed silver finish also, but wasn't the "look" we were going for. Now we are wondering if the silver version paint peels off or not. April 12, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Don't waste time / money Flimsy short stakes with large flange that do poor job of supporting these top heavy lights. All four lights failed after a couple nights. Only work intermittently. Light lasts only about four hours. Light is blue-white and dim. October 28, 2014
