I hate to admit this BUT I've tried way more than my fair share of outdoor solar lights. I am happy to say that I have found a winner with these. They are really nice quality and a good weight, for sure. People spoke in other reviews that they could easily break while trying to insert them into the ground..I had no issues & it could have been the fact that the ground was a bit softer due to recent rain. They come ready to roll even though it mentions to give it a good 6 to 8 hours of sunlight to expect any duration of light. I was surprised when I went out the next morning to go to work and noticed they were all still on. Yea! They burn brightly and stay on from dusk to dawn. They look really nice (there's nothing cheap about their appearance). I love them so much, I'm going to buy another set. When I say I've tried many, many types of solar landscaping lights, it's true. My search has finally ended with these Hampton Bay lights and highly suggest them to anyone looking for a great product that does exactly what it claims. Worth every penny & you won't be sorry that you've tried these...think you'll be happy, too!

These a really super lights. They look far more expensive than they are and are very bright. In fact I bought a second set.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by Lovinit Looks beautiful but...
These lights were extremely simple to install and instantly added a decorative touch to our front walk. They're not really bright enough to light a path by themselves but they work perfectly for our needs. However, 2 of them are melting. Yes, melting. I live in the South but it's just barely April so we haven't even had any hot days and the tops of 2 the lights are melting around the solar panel. Considering that these are solar powered and meant to be placed in the sun, this is a major flaw. It's only happened to 2 of them and I have 8, so maybe they're just defective. I'll be returning one pack and hoping I have better luck with new ones!
