Is this item actually 55.2 lumens. I was in your store and found the Hampton Bay Spotlight's for $19.95, but they were not 55.2 lumens. I think they were closer to 15 lumens.

Answer:
cant help you there I still have the instructions but it doesn't say. I believe it had that info on the box but I don't have that either. I do have to tell you that it works well in lighting up the area that you want at night. Mine lights up the area where I have a fountain.

Answer:
I can only compare them to the $10 lights from Walmart and this light is much brighter and far superior in construction. if $10 is the standard price, this should be in the $30-$40 range

Answer:
well I just found out they don't carry this item in stock any more, but I hope they bring it back. And yes it does come with a solar panel that has a 20 foot cord so you can put the panel for optimum performance. Hopefully home depot will bring this item back

Outdoor Matte Black Ground Solar 55.2 Lumen LED Spotlight is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 26.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best solar spot on the market...period I originally purchased the Hampton Bay 3 LED light set. Big mistake. Looked like some kid's toy & plastic too. My 3 LED pocket flashlight is brighter. So I bought 3 of these. Yep, my friends thought I was nuts spending $120 plus tax on 3 solar lights. But let me tell you, these guys aren't kidding when they say its 230 times BRIGHTER than a cheap three dollar solar light. This sucker has a big solar panel and takes 2 batteries, but its worth the ugliness because its on all night. Don't waste your time with any other solar light. Kind of pricey though but you get what you pay for. I love these and they are made out of alloy, not plastic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Owned this product for over 1 year At first, I was a bit surprised how expensive this 1 solar light is ($40) when I can buy 4 for the same price. After a year of owning it - I'm OK with the price. First of all, I live in New York and my yard gets very little Northern sunlight (3 hours in the summer). It seems "day light" is all it needs. It charges during the day and it works (with bright light) from sunset until 1 am. I'm using it to illuminate a statue and it works really well. Secondly, and the main reason why I'm writing this review - I forgot this light outside all through out winter - nothing happened to it. Negative 10 degrees: no problem. It's like it's indestructible (hopefully forever :o).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Still crazy bright I bought another one. At $40 a pop they ain't cheap. So now I own 4 of these bad boys . Since my last review Oct. 2011, they still are bright through two seasons of heat and cold rain. Only thing I do is spray Fantastic on the lense to get rid of the cobwebs and I sprayed out a brown spider living in one today. I really can't believe after 2 seasons I didn't have to change the batteries. Of course the new one looks as bright as the 3 older ones. Again, you pay for what you get. These are aluminum housing lights NOT PLASTIC and the bulbs are rated in watts, not milliwatts. The batteries are also lithium 3.2v 1000 mAh so they are powerful. Most cheap solar lights run on 1.2v 600mAh. The higher the mAh the better and of course, the higher the voltage. Now you learned something. Regardless, the brightness and construction outweigh the hassle of replacement batteries. Just don't place them anywhere a thief can steal them, like I said they are $40 each. Probably one of the best home improvement purchases I made so far. I can't say enough about them. Good luck and happy solar lighting!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shop no more If you are looking to light up the front of your house, trees and more, this is your light While not as bright as wired lights, they do a good job considering. Bought three, going back for 2 more!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from worked only three months I bought one unit to light my address stone. It worked great and I was very pleased, but after about tthree months it stopped working. The light-activated switch is defective.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from bright for solar battery led We have a stone walkway we wanted to illuminate at night without having a floodlight on all night. These spotlights are much brighter than the cheaper 1.5 or 3 lumen solar lights you stick in the ground (that are like little torches). I bought 2 of these spotlights which throw of a surprising amount of light for solar battery spotlights. The solar panels are relatively big but because a very long cord is provided between panel and spotlight, you can put the panel in a less conspicuous place (provided it still gets sunlight). I don't think bright enough to light up the side of a large structure or a big walkway, but a noticeable and bright spotlight for modest-sized area. Don't know about durability and battery life yet because I only purchased several weeks ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Light output These lights were great! I purchased 6 for my backyard. They work great! It has a good light output. I would recommend these to anyone that needed a "Spotlight". The only downfall is the solar panel is a little large (not great for hiding).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Solar LED Light and still working after 2 years This is the best solar LED spotlight available. Two years ago purchased three, one did not work and was replaced at the local HD. Currently all three spotlights are working and are still very bright. In my experience most LED solar lights last only one to two years and fail. The batteries last only for approx. one year and then need to be replaced. The HD replacement batteries positive terminal is lower and a piece of aluminum foil is needed to make the connection. Replacement battery is type "18500 lithium phosphate battery."
