Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mazda these lights are great when they work
Two out of six didn't work right out the box. one of the two seemed to work with fiddling. At night 4 out of five light (different ones each night). At 4 AM there's usually one bright one left and maybe two very dim ones, different ones each night.
So from dusk till 2 AM or so, I have 3 to 5 lights bright enough to walk around without tripping or talk or eat or whatever. Not bright enough for serious card game or reading though.
Rain seems to dampen their reliability somewhat.
I also bought some of these lights several years ago and most of them still work.
I actually used one once as a flashlight to walk to a neighbor at night. Plenty of light but, awkward.

I've had these lights for 4 months, and another set of them from before that. There is a sticker underneath the cap that shows the manufacturing date. The lights that were manufactured Oct 2011 work great, no signs of rust at all and they have 850mah batteries. The lights that were manufactured in Dec 2009 rusted the battery terminals and failed within 2 months. It appears that they have corrected the problem. I reviewed everything else but quality to be high because I am very pleased with the brightness, runtime, and overall look of these lights. If you can get new ones they may be worth trying.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BenJamin Brighter than other solar lights but only lasts a few hours on a sunny day
Great concept, no wire, free energy, unfortunately I've found they are unreliable and only last a few hours (2-4) if it's been sunny or partly sunny. On overcast days they've not come on at all. Also, when considering solar lights, look at the locations you have in mind. With wired lighting lights can literally be placed under tree and bushes, no the case with solar. They need maximum exposure to sunlight in order to stay on for the longest period of time. These lights have a Dual-mode brightness selector switch gives you a choice between a 6-hour run time with 30 Lumens output or a 10-hour run time with 24 Lumens output. Sounds great right? I couldn't tell much difference in brightness, so kept them on the 10-hour setting but still never found them to last over about 4 hours. Considering it gets dark in the Houston area at around 4:30pm in the winter, having your lights go off in most cases before 8pm is simply unacceptable. Nice quality and brightness, but run time just too short so all 4 I bought are going back for a refund and I'll still with the low voltage wired LED's until someone comes out with a bright solar landscape light that will last until at least midnight, year round, even after cloudy days.
switch that let you select from 2 brightness levels, which both are bright enough in my opinion, much brighter than other solar lights I've seen, but they indicate

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Good design, but dosen't last!
Do not buy this product, unless you do not mind keep bringing them back for exchange or refund. I brought 4 sets about a year ago, they were bright and looks very good for the first few weeks, then they started dying one by one. I bought back to Home Depot and exchange for new ones, no luck, they all ended up not working.
I complained to Home Depot and they had the manufacture sent me new rechargeable batteries, and that dosen't help. Finally, the manufacture sent me new housings and its been only for about a month, 1/3 of them stopped working.

This was a return for a product that failed after three months. The product is very good in all aspects, I hope the reliability of the replacement will exceed the original.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by OLYGAL Love these solar lights!
Received a set for Christmas. Liked them so much, I went online and ordered another two sets. The 2-led lights give off good light and have two brightness selector settings. The only reason I didn't rate them with five stars is my home faces north and they do not get enough sunlight in the winter to fully recharge. They take a 3.2V LiFePO4 battery and I haven't found a charger to recharge the batteries. If I could find a charger, they would definately rate five stars.
