Answer:
It says that if you spill something to get it up quickly. With that being said I left scrap out in the rain for 5 months before hauling them to the city dump. The flooring was not deformed in any way. I would not put it in my bathroom or kitchen but have heard of people putting it in their kitchen. I used ceramic tile in my bath and kitchen.

Answer:
This product is not waterproof. Spills should be wiped up promptly. A joint sealant could be used during installation for an added layer of protection against moisture.
Consider using a Luxury Vinyl Plank, such as model HLVT3030, to have the look of wood but the resistance to moisture that you desire.

It can be used on staircase but be mindful that because of the shiny piano finish it is slick and slippery which could cause not to loose their footing. Other than that it's beautiful and the stair nosing should screw right it with no problem

Answer:
Yes. Laminates can be installed on staircase. It must be secured with liquid nail and if it has attached foam underlayment, it must be removed first. For detailed installation instruction, please contact Home Legend Technical department at 877 630 1800

Answer:
I see no reason it can't be used on the staircase. Please note that the piano finish will make it slick/slippery which would be the only con I can think of. Other than that, the stair nosing should screw into it well.

Hello anonymous and thank you for your question.
This laminate flooring can create a slip/trip hazard on stair surfaces since it is a floating floor. So I spoke to the Technical Department at Home Legends who told me that you can install the laminate flooring on a staircase for treads and risers - provided you follow these instructions.
1. Remove any underlayment from the bottom of the laminate plank.
2. Glue the plank using one of the following products (follow the respective manufacturer instructions when using the adhesive): construction adhesive, liquid nails, wood glue, or a glue that does not expand when it is sets.
3. Reinforce the plank by nailing 1-1¼” brads (countersink then fill with matching wood putty).

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wow This floor was so easy to install and is absolutely stunning. I was almost afraid to order because I wasn't sure of the coloring being too much , but it wasn't. It is beautiful and easy to keep. I am looking to use it again in another room. July 9, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not for families Finger, barefoot, & shoe prints all leave marks on it & you are constantly rubbing the marks off. Not for families. Looks nice just don't walk on it. March 23, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Goodbye Carpet Beautiful, durable, easily cleaned with no scuffs. May 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Simple to Install I installed 60 cases of this flooring in my kitchen, dining room and Family room. It took about 4 days to install for me and my 68 year old father. Its absolutely beautiful and very easy to install. It takes some thought on some pieces with angles and jigging some pieces but an absolutely simple home project that saves you thousands of dollars by self installing. I had about 8 damages grooves but was able to use those planks in certain areas that had to be cut. Not bad on almost 500 planks. The quarter round absolutely brings it all together. Great winter project that any idiot could do. January 4, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Too many damaged pieces This is beautiful flooring, but too many pieces were damaged either at the corners or the underlayment along the sides (joints). The installer is trying to use the pieces with damaged corners in areas where he has to cut the length. I don't know what he is going to do with the ones that has damage with the underlayment along the sides (joints). The adjustments that the installer has to make is time consuming. I am extremely unhappy because I was doing my office first. Now I don't know if I want to buy this for the rest of the house. I will need to find another laminate that matches this in color. I also, think I will look for some that does not have the underlayment attached. If it were not for all of the damaged pieces, I would have given this product 5 stars. September 27, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flooring Installation We had this flooring installed by Home Depot on 02/09/15-02/10/15 and very PLEASED with the outcome. The flooring techs were exceptional. I actually worked with one if them during my employment with Home Depot several years ago. The floor looks nice and I did not have a lot of damage to flooring. I had 3 boxes left including some qtr round and moulding that I returned( I kept one box of flooring). We have gotten several compliments on the floor. February 15, 2015
