Got this set this weekend and assembled it. With four people it took about 2 hours, so yes it is a process. You need at least two people to be able to put the back on the chair. Everything was clearly separated and the instructions were well written. Nothing in the box was damaged. A few of the screws we noticed didn't want to start but they key here (which most people don't have the patience for) is NOT TO FORCE THE SCREW. All of the screws were able to be hand tightened all the way and then a socket set was used to do the final tightening. If a screw was difficult to start, we backed it out and wiggled and tried again until it went it smoothly (by hand so not to over power it and strip the screw). If its hard, DON'T FORCE IT or it will strip the threads off. We had just one screw where my husband forced a tough screw and stripped the threads on the inside but a longer screw with the same threading was all we needed to get it working again. My biggest complaint is that they do not give you any spare screws or washers so losing one is not an option. I am rating this based on the look and quality of the furniture, not on the assembly process. This set is as nice as the $1500-$2000 sets we've looked at in higher end stores, the savings is clearly for the assembly process. It looks way richer than it costs once assembled. Only time will tell how durable it is.

When I first went patio set shopping my main goal was to find something stylish but comfortable and this set is exactly that.. The chairs are unlike anything out there in that all of them rock! It's not a full rock like a rocking chair but it offers just enough play to keep you satisfied. They are also wonderful to sit in (surprisingly soft) and the best part about it is I don't have to worry about cushions!
The table is also very nice and the tiles are of great quality. I see it lasting many years.
The install process was quite lengthy. With another person (recommended just for the installing the seat backs alone) it took about 4 hours to setup but nothing a few beers couldn't take care of. I did notice some of the chairs had legs that weren't touching the ground after install so they were a bit crooked. I contemplated taking them apart again but I didn't want to risk stripping the screw holes and besides, when you sit in them they level out with no sign of unevenness.
I do however have a problem with one of the chairs in that the resin wicker material has started falling apart. Kind of concerning for something 2 weeks old. I contacted Home Depot and they asked if I would like to return it. That means I would have to take the whole set apart again, wait for another set to come in, then put it back together. LOL, yeah, umm, how about no. I did ask if they could just replace the one chair but haven't heard anything back yet (been a week). We'll see how they handle it but I'm confident they will make it right.
One last thing, the optional umbrella they offer with this set is pretty much garbage. The pole is plastic, the umbrella material is about as tough a paper mache (had 4 holes in it upon receiving it), and the overall length of it doesn't cover up the chairs in the set.. I returned it and went and bought another one from a different store for much cheaper and better quality.
With that said, overall great patio set!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by TablelessPartier Pretty good product, neverending order fulfillment process
Overall quality of the patio set is good. My issues manifested in the quality of the pre tapped screw holes in the chairs and table. I had to chase the threads on almost all of them.
I loved the design of this set, utilizing quality tiles instead of a glass tabletop that would forever be smudged. Unfortunately, I had to wait over 3 months for my order to be completed. Although I did get a set of chairs and tiles in about 6 weeks, I had to wait another 6 weeks to get the table frame...unacceptable. The summers in upstate new york are short enough!! Shipping errors and back order issues plagued our order.

Easy to assemble, but time consuming. Do not use the included wrenches. Use a regular socket set as this will make the assembly easier. All parts were clearly marked on a vacuum sealed card. All the pieces were packaged and wrapped for protection. The delivery driver placed the skid right in my garage so I could easily put it all together.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SandE Thankful for these reviews!
After reading the reviews here on the assembly headaches associated with this set, I was hesitant to purchase it. Because of you wonderful reviewers, I bought the floor sample that was already assembled AND had it delivered. It was delivered in less than 24 hours, and I got a great price because of the Memorial Day promotion. The set is sturdy, assembled well, and looks great. Thank you to all of you who saved us the trouble of having to assemble this big set. Paying it forward, I recommend purchasing an umbrella a bit larger than the 9 ft. version I bought. Thanks again for your helpful reviews!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by ZacsDad Great Looking Set, but.....
My wife and I looked at several patio sets over a couple of days and just happened to be in a Home Depot in another nearby town when we spotted this set. Being on sale, we sat in the chairs and mulled the decision over before finally deciding to purchase this.
First off, let me say that, assembled, this set looks great, and it matched the umbrella we purchased a few days earlier perfectly, which we considered a special bonus.
Table went together perfectly! We love the tiled surface since we were tired of the glass tops, and in researching found that many newer sets seemed to have an 'explosion' defect for glass top sets.
The chairs went together great too! That is, the first TWO did. The other remaining four had the M6 bolts holding on the back pieces stripping out the threaded inserts. Problem. The M6 bolts are TOO short for the back piece between the leg/arm upright pieces. The M6 bolts included are about 1 inch long, so I went with a few that were about 1-1/4 long, and they worked perfectly. However, I had to make a special trip back to the store to buy these in order to use the set the day I put it together.
Also, once the other four chairs were tightened down, the four legs did not touch the ground equally. They would rock back and forth. When I sat in them, then they would be ok, but to me, this is poor workmanship. Nothing I could do to fix this. When the bolts were loose, all legs sat on ground. Once tightened, the rocking began. I hate to say it, but sad to expect it from another Chinese product.
Packaging was great. I didn't mind removing all of the bubble wrap and plastic bags. This gave me the notion that the pieces would not be damaged or excessively scratched. However, I didn't need to remove a 'made in china' sticker off of every single piece. I got the idea it came from there on the box!
As others have said, if you don't have these already, buy a 10 and 13 mm socket (3/8 drive) and open-ended wrench of each size as well. This will lessen your frustration should you purchase this set for yourself.
I would have given this set a lower rating had I paid full price for the set. Being on sale, I gave it a break. I just hate the idea of spending money and getting products not made up to par. Looks great, but not sure I'd recommend buying it, but I guess you take your chance like we did and perhaps you'll get a set made on a different day and things won't rock or strip out on you!
Assembly time - 4 hours - this included going ALL the way back to town (and I don't live near town by any means) to get bolts to make the chairs assemble correctly

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Compbob Great Vakue And Ease of Assembly
Purchased this set a few weeks ago at a local Home Depot store. The chairs are comfortable and the set blended well with our patio. Read the reviews about how difficult the set was to assemble and would have to disagree, it took me a little over two hours with proper hand tools (10 & 13 MM wrench and socket) to assemble by myself. Suggest starting all bolts loosely before tightening, being careful not to over-tighten since the threaded holes are aluminum and can be easily stripped.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dawn Don't let the reviews scare you away from buying
Before buying this set I did a lot of research and reading of every review and was a bit scared to order given the biggest con was that it was so hard to put together, poor customer service, came broken, etc. However, I found it to be the exact opposite. Granted, it is not a pop together set by any means it took about 4 hours by myself (hubby was pretty impressed when he got home). He did have to help me put the stones in though as I was afraid to lift them myself because they are pretty heavy.
Like the others said though, use your own tools. The ones that come with it wouldn't even be considered "kiddy" tools. It looks amazing on my patio! I didn't believe it when I read that the chair s rock, but they do!! Not a lot but just enough so your not stationary. The seats are nice and wide and deep. Nothing was broke, all the parts; bolts, caps, etc were all included. Only be careful opening the package with the parts as they are loose and almost lost a couple. I'm SO glad that I took the risk and made this purchase and you will too! Also got the matching loungers (Model # HD14218) which are awesome and only took about 10 minutes each to put together and don't forget the umbrella (Model # 9106-01298500 in moss which matches the cushions perfectly) and base as they don't come with it.
