Answer:
Thank you for your question. This fan is a dual mount fan meaning that it can only be mounted with the included downrod on a flat ceiling, or with an extension downrod. This fan can not be mounted flush without a downrod.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the Pendleton fan. The fan's direction is controlled by a switch located on the top of the fan's motor housing. The remote control does not control the fan's direction.

Answer:
To reverse airflow you must first stop the fan and slide the reversing switch, located on the motor housing, to the opposite position. After that, you can operate the fan via remote control.

Thank you for your question. Yes, one remote can control 2 fans if the remotes and receivers are the same. The dip switches would need to match in the remote and receivers (the manual explains the dip switch settings). Please be advised that if the fans are installed in the same room, they may get out of sync depending on the distance. If they are installed in separate rooms, it shouldn't be a problem. Read More

Please be advised that if the fans are installed in the same room, they may get out of sync depending on the distance. If they are installed in separate rooms, it shouldn't be a problem. For this reason, we do not recommend controlling 2 fans with one remote as it could cause performance issues (but it can be done). Read Less

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 40 reviewers.
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Misleading Installation Information Buyer Beware. The fan looks great but cannot be installed on any kind of sloped ceiling. Installation manual states the maximum angle allowable is 30˚ for installation on a sloped ceiling. After spending a great deal of time trying to make this work I contacted HD who put me in touch with the manufacturer. The representative admitted that this fan will not install on any kind of sloped ceiling. This is all due to the wireless receiver that has to be inserted inside the mounting bracket. Once the pivot ball of the down rod is placed in the bracket and hangs at an angle there is no room for this receiver. I have a feeling this will be a problem for other models as well. There are several threads about this online at the HD discussion forum that date back 4 years, so HD is aware of the problem and has done NOTHING to address the issue. Other manufacturers have created slope ceiling adapter kits or horseshoe shaped wireless receivers that fits into the canopy. The manufacturers representative sounded like she could care less about this issue. Poor job Home Depot. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love it! Looks great, works great! Install went smoothly. I'd buy it again. September 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by WORKS ON SLOPED CEILINGS! Someone stated this fan does not work on sloped ceilings....THAT IS FALSE! My husband just installed ours on a sloped ceiling, and everything went smoothly. On the mounting bracket that the remote brain box goes it has room even when you use the down rod on a sloped ceiling....just make sure to follow the mounting bracket instructions as it has a sticker on it that states "SLOPED CEILING THIS SIDE" or something close to that (I don't remember the exact verbage). The manufacturer's representative gave this customer wrong information when he stated this fan could not be used on sloped ceilings especially when we installed it just fine and the mounting bracket literally has a sticker on it for the mounting on a sloped ceiling. The fan looks great, easy to install (I was gone or 1.5 hrs to shop and when I got home my husband had it installed and running) overall lighting a little dim but we have plenty of lights in this area to make up for the difference. Very satisfied. September 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking fan Saw this fan online and liked the look. I was lucky to get it during the Black Friday sales and was able to get it for a really great price. We purchased this fan to replace a fan that was no longer working so the install was fairly easy. It took approx.1 hr, but only because we made a mistake and had to back track. The globe lets off a warm light (don't generally use overhead lighting in my living room) which is quite cozy, the fan itself looks beautiful and runs very quietly. Love being able to use a remote to operate the fan. As a whole the fan looks modern but has a warm flair to it. I would definitely make this purchase again. December 22, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very quiet fan Very nice looking fan. Quiet. The remote works well. If your current fan is on two switches, one for the light and one for the fan, there are not wire hook ups to do the same, but with the remote, it doesn't matter. Remote is very responsive. Comes with a holder so you could attach the remote to a wall for safekeeping. Light is not bright, but I didn't want a glaring light in my bedroom anyway. I would say medium amount of light. I thought when looking at the picture, the globe would put out yellow light, but is more white. I enjoy looking at it. January 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful As previously reviiwed, these are tedious to put together, but worth it. They are very attractive. I replaced 2 fans with 2 of these. I was amazed with the difference in the amount of air they moved. I was also pleased with the light. It is not bright light but sufficient for the room they are in; Much more than I previously had. The room is decorated in a nautical theme and these versatile fans fit right in. December 7, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by True Arts and Crafts Design and ingenuity.......Beautifil fixture This is truly a beautiful, quality fixture. The glass globe has a slightly art glass look to it. It shimmers when turned on- beautiful. The volume of light is not fantastic, so do not expect a great amount of light from the light fixture part. Otherwise its a perfect "10". February 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Unique Stylish Design Easy install except for the remote module. To get all the wires in there and the module stuffed within the bracket, it was tough, especially when you are trying to avoid pinching any wires. I have installed many ceiling fans before and that issue made it a rough install. Otherwise, it is a unique design, many compliments. It definitely is better looking than the average ceiling fan. People complain that the light is not bright with the bulbs supplied. Ok...well put brighter bulbs in, not a big deal and is no longer an issue. January 5, 2016
