DO NOT ORDER THIS IN THE PALLET SIZE. The product is actually a 4 to 5 star if you purchase them separately. The pallet doesn't save you any money. Order the single. It comes faster. My order actually was 1 pallet and 10 single boxes. The 10 single boxes came 3 days before the pallet even though it was the same order. Also the pallet is heavy and it came damaged seems like either HomeDepot or the Canadian company poked it with one of those carts with the hydraulic lifts. Tried to return the 4 or 5 boxes that i saw that were visibly damaged but HomeDepot would not let me return them as singles because they way they were ordered. Would have had to return the entire pallet. Needed to finish off my project so could not wait another week and a half for a new order to come so I took the product home and found out that 6 boxes had hidden damaged from getting prodded by those lifts. Corners are smooshed from being man handled... got receipt for the singles and will return them as singles.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kiki Stunning - Easy Install - Great Price!
This floor is absolutely stunning. Just beautiful. The design of the finish is really gorgeous when you see it all laid out. I have gotten so many compliments. I installed this floor all by myself and so I just took my time, and sort of got the hang of it as I went along. It took me alot longer than the videos I watched, but I am so very happy with the results. The fact that is has the padding attached was a definite plus.
The floor has a fantastic guarantee on it - something like 50 years or so. It is so easy to clean - read your instructions - all you need is a cloth. You don't have to polish, wash, wax or any of that kind of thing. It seems to be holding up very well to traffic. It feels great under your feet and easy on your back.
It is very difficult to capture the beauty of it in a picture, but I did my best to try to show a section of the floor so you can see how it looks.
A friend of mine warned me not to get the gloss finish, thinking that it would show up every speck of dust etc. but I have to say that it does not - that is not an issue at all. And I have pets!
The price has gone down since I bought it, so if you are on the fence about it, now would be a great time to go for it! It is so worth it. I just love it - love it and I love it.
For the transformation you will get at this price, you just can't go wrong!

This is a great product at a great price.
I have installed other brands of laminate flooring in other homes I have owned and this one rates right up there in all categories. The cost per square foot really helps keep the cost of the remodel down.
Transitioning from tile to laminate flooring, be sure use an appropriate tile metal edge and foam moisture barrier to bring the flooring level with the tile. In addition to the manufacturer attached foam pad, I used a 3/32" foam moisture barrier to provide a smooth, level transition to the entry tile.
Buy an install kit tapping block to seat the planks. The row of planks should nestle on down when seated properly.
Wear knee pads and get a helper. The helper can fetch planks and cut them to size for you. Saves getting up and down, up and down, up and down ... the knee pads save your knees ;-) .
This is a true DIY project. The atta-boys and satisfaction rewards are ongoing.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Slix Decent product
This evaluation is based on initial installation. Long term wear and resistance to water spills is unknown at this point.
I would recommend but with reservations. Finished product looked good and price was O.K. The foam backing was a work saver and added to the finished quality, cost and feel (comfort) of the floor. The individual planks contributes the appearance of real hardwood. Although one can tell via sound that it is a floating floor. At half the price of hard wood, I'm not sure it is a long term value.
The only issue was seating the planks. The finished fit was very good but required a lot of tapping into place. the core of the product appeared to be a "press paper". Anything other than a LIGHT tap to seat the planks would damage the core/plank. One must cut and utilize many tapping blocks, out of the same material, over the course of the installation.

My husband and I purchased our first home 3 years ago and knew we would be making some changes since the house is almost 30 years old. We agreed on going with laminate Hampton Bay Perry Hickory because of its high gloss and durability. We have completed our entire downstairs with this product and couldn't be more please. It's easy to clean, plain water and a bluffing cloth, and we get tons of compliments from our friends and family. Best of all, we installed it ourselves!

I ordered some laminate flooring to make some repairs to the existing flooring which I had ordered and installed about a year ago. The repairs were due to some water damage. The product is fine, but this is the second time I've had to special order something from Home Depot and not been notified that the product was in the store ready to pick up. If I hadn't made a special trip to the store to check on the status because it was 5:00 p.m. on the last day the product was suppose to arrive in the store, there's no telling how long I would have had to have waited. Come to find out, the product had been in the store for days, and no one bothered calling.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kest Good reasonably priced product
Takes a little learning period to assemble and have to be careful not to over tighten it, it would cause the laminate surface to come up at end edge. We installed and later reinstalled the same planks in a different room. Glossy finish does show the dust probably more than a semi gloss would. One thing is very important, the sub floor should be very level otherwise the new flooring will flex and might squeak when walking on it. Special inexpensive tools and a rubber mallet are necessary. Need a good table or flooring saw. Allow plenty of time to do it and get instructions on line from HD. This will be our second installation.
