I installed this light myself, no problems! I'm a mom with no electrical training.
I had read that you may want to put a larger fuse in the converter box on another site, but I didn't and it continues to work well.
I spray painted the finish a golden bronze and it looks and works great!
I don't know why others had such issues.

I purchased this light for a multipurpose room. The light was great for about 1 week, then it blew its first fuse. Put in another fuse and again, it blew it immediately. Called the company, EuroFase and they are not direct manufactures of the light so they really can't offer much help even though it has a 1 yr warranty. They suggested checking all 12 bulbs, one could be stuck causing it to short or the wiring could be bad. I would think these are great suggestions if the light never worked, but it did. I am very disappointed with the light and the service I received from Eurofase. I will be taking the light back and getting something that is less of a pain to use.

This chandelier has not lasted. The glass globes crack and fall apart due to the heat exerted by the supplied bulbs. Parts are not available to replace globe shades.
Cannot find replacement parts (Home Depot Customer Care cannot provide them). Very dissapointed in the lack of endurance and the lack of after purchase parts availability for this product.

I purchased this beautiful chandelier in the chrome finish for my 2-story foyer. The individual light "arms" are extremely delicate yet it arrived with all the "arms" almost intertwined so you have to handle it quite a bit to unpack and assemble it. After attempting to straighten a bent arm, it eventually BROKE. OK, I still like this chandelier so I order another...(can always use the first one for spare parts right??)
Was extremely careful with the second chandelier but the threaded end wouldn't stay in the hood section attached to the electrical box in the ceiling...did I mention the 2-story foyer??? Reluctantly used an adhesive to hold the threaded section in place; worked well until the cabinet delivery guy hit the light while carrying a box up the stairs...needless to say, the chandelier is now hanging by the wires (I know, not safe at all) so now it's a matter of bringing in a 22' ladder to take this chandelier down and repeat the modified assembly/install process. One good thing, the supplied bulbs have lasted a long time, only one blown in about 8 years...

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by LoraK This chandelier came with big defect, our electrician couldn't screw chandelier's canopy to the long pole(bad threading), therefore it looks unfinished and I don't like it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Marc It looks great and the price was fantastic (on sale). We love it.
Good quality except for the connectors, they are too small.
The fuse socket is improperly aligned.
The lamp looks great though. We love it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Susan The chandelier had no way to stay up on the ceiling; the electrician showed me how there was not adequate threading support
The beautiful chandelier was completely useless due to defective engineering and had to be returned.
