Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Linc A " Statement Piece" for the home!
I wanted a chandelier over our dining room table, my husband wanted a fan. We compromised on this & I am not disappointed. It's gorgeous ! It is a heavy piece though, so my husband used the safety cable when installing. It was a difficult install , at times you need another person to assist. The instructions leave out somethings that you have to figure out on your own, time consuming. Very little room for the receiver in the housing. Wiring is tedious with little room to work. Read directions carefully including boxes in gray. Fan will not operate until you attach the switch housing & light kit. Not enough light with the 4 40 watt bulbs included. I will try 60 watts.

Love the beauty, quality, and versatility of this fan. I purchased this fan for my daughter's vintage circus themed room (pictured) and it is versatile enough to be whimsical or formal, depending on the room it is going in. Liked it so much purchased another for a master bedroom in an 1880's Victorian home I am restoring (not pictured). Only drawback for me has been difficulty in reaching the upper lights for replacement, so they often go without replacing due to height of the ceiling -- but they are wonderful for a nightlight in a child's room -- but lower lights are easily replaceable and provide plenty of light.

This is a beautiful ceiling fan, however that being said it is very heavy, and not very bright. I haven't even had it for year and the motor and the settings are all messed up. Medium and high are the same speed and VERY NOISY and you can hardly tell when it's on low. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!! I wish I would have returned it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jackofalltrades42 Attractive, functional, and best fan I have ever owned
Wonderful and beautiful fan, accurate pictures and description. Wiring up the fan with the remote receiver was a pain in the butt, due to the lack of room given for where the receiver sits and having 4 different wires going out of it, then trying to cover it all up with the ceiling plate. If the ceiling plate was just 1" wider would of made a world of difference. Yes this fan is heavy and the best thing to do is completely assemble the fan on the floor with the lights, fan motor and down rod attached, but leave the fan blades off... Then simply hang the fan on the down rod ball insert, and attach the wires. Also the glass light bulb covers do dim and block a lot of the light from the sides and top, making the light more focused downward. to fix this problem and to make the lights more brighter simply replace the covers with either a clear or fully transparent glass light bulb covers, this will allow the light to shine through out the whole room instead from right underneath it. I have no balance or wobbling issues with this fan. Most of the time the wobbling comes from an improper ceiling electrical box that is simply nailed or screwed to one side to the ceiling joist while the rest of the box is sitting on the gypsum board, or nothing at all, so there is improper balance at the foundation. My ceiling electrical box is supported by a metal rod that is bolted to both ceiling joists and can support a lot of weight.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Doppelganger Quality Fan... Pain to install...
Great looking fan and solidly built. Uplight is more for ambiance than practical use since rather dim. The barnwood "look" to the one side of the blades looks like random drill holes and looks as if someone took a Sharpie to make random marks and is cheesy. Other side is better plain. The fan's downlights are bright but very directional since the shades are painted inside white. Even though the "wrought iron" look seems to be made of aluminum it is VERY heavy (nearly 50lbs) and this make install difficult even for 2 people to coordinate. I have 6 ceiling fans and the 2 of us have installed countless over the years at multiple properties and this was by far the most challenging due to weight and poor instructions. It is not stated in the directions that until the downlight is installed you cannot test the fan motor. This created a problem when you try testing the motor before going to the trouble of installing the blades then the downlight. It is just wired up this way..., trying to hold nearly 50lbs up while wiring and getting the horrible remote module and wires all stuffed into a nearly impossible small covering and mount was the main issue. Took us many hours to get it done right. 1925 built home and ran into issues trying to undo prior owners' shortcuts to have quality, safe and secure install. Was missing 1 screw and 1 shade was damaged upon arrival. Manufacture replaced shade and even sent 2 extras to be safe. Looks great after all the trouble. Fan's 3 speeds are great. Quiet-running and balanced. I recommend have lots of time and hands to do this install.
