Answer:
For 5 years I have had a approx 6 foot long track with 6 fixtures and 65 wt incandescent bulbs on a dimmer. It worked fine. Just changed over to LED bulbs (phillips br30 LED) should run cheaper and pull less current on the circuit.

Answer:
Yes, you can add several more track heads to the track system up to 2,400 watts.
It all depends on the wattage of the light bulbs. The max wattage of this individual track head is 75 watts. You would max the system out by adding 32 more heads using 75 watt bulbs.

I'm not an electrician, but I believe the answer is yes, if the heads are not too large and crowd the bar.

Answer:
Hi Peter,
Thanks for the question.
Additional cylinders can be added to trac lights, but you should always consider the total wattage restrictions of the fixture.
Overloading a fixture with too much demand for wattage or amperage could over heat the circuit, causing an electrical fire.
Reducing the wattage of the bulbs in the fixture could allow for extra lights.

Answer:
Hey Britt,
This particular light fixture is a track head light, which means it needs to be installed on a track system for it to work.
To save you time and money for a fixture that doesn't require all those extra pieces, you can use a simple uplight that has a built in plug in included. The link for it is below:

Buy a rated bulb for it, and you'll get the right light for your event.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Replacements for some old faded canisters for my Track Lights. LED upgrade as well!!! These were the easiest to get installed in my kitchen track lights replacing some old broken canisters that had faded as well. Super bright lights now as I also took the effort to replace the junky CFL bulbs with some nice bright white LED's June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Switchover to LED Made Simple I already had track lighting wired in, but wanted to upgrade to LED's. These were super affordable, and using PAR30 LED spots (also available at Home Depot) has really brightened up my office. Very easy to install - just line up the metal tabs with the opening in the track, pull back the spring-loaded contact alignment housing, twist the contacts in, and release the housing to lock the light in the track. This was less expensive than totally replacing the track. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good track light These adjust to several different angles and directions easily to direct light where you want it. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Not in the store anymore but available online. These simple cans are great because you can add more to the basic light track, and they take any kind of light bulb including LEDs. They blend into the background which I like. February 10, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glad these light fixtures were in stock. I've had several series of track lights in my own house (kitchen, TV room, bedroom, dining room) and although they look about the same, some of the tracks don't match others and it's sometimes hard to find a replacement fixture when one finally wears out In this case, installed in a rental house perhaps 30 years ago, I had to buy an entire new track and fixtures. However, it was not particularly expensive, was easy to install the new track and plug in the new fixtures. Looks great. June 24, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good purchase Easy to install and looks great. Very bright with s good bulb. December 10, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value Lamps are well made. However you need to be sure you insert and twist the stem of the light fixture so that the side of the stem with two prongs is engaged to the side of the track with two conductors. December 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Worked fine for good price, but how hard can a lamp head be? The lamps worked fine, even mating to a 25 year old track. The price was good. But, seriously, how difficult can it be to make a simple lamp for a few bucks? I first tried to replace the old track light with a new, expensive LED 3-head track (knowing that LEDs have long life and require little power), but was unsatisfied with the lighting, so we took them back, and got the old cheapies and put in CFLs, which I'm not too fond of.
