Yes, I just checked it, thinking it only went down to about 30 degrees and discovered it does go horizontal if you release the entire mechanism. I was only using the the notched spots, but you can to beyond those both for upright and reclining. Wish I'd checked before I did my review!

Yes, but with a caveat. I'm afraid stacking them might scratch the finish on the arms. If you do stack them, I would put a towel between the arms. I opted to order the cover, and am happy I did.

You probably could if the manufacturing company sold it. It would be very difficult to find the right material for this anywhere else, and very hard to install it.

Home Depot considers it "black"....I requested some touch-up paint and the gal online said "black" .... but it blends nicely with my table set which is that DARK green.....The sling back material is pretty much a beige....but, then again, it blends well with the sling back material of my other chairs that is kind of greenish......I LOVE the chaise lounges that I bought!
