Rated 2 out of 5 by Not what I thought This was the only fan we actually liked the style of in regard to matching our mid-century modern taste. We need a ceiling fan over our dining room table to keep the air circulation flowing throughout the house. I was hoping this light would be a lot more "dining room friendly" and instead it kind of puts out an obnoxious glow at full power that isn't really that great in our space. We waited to long to see if this fan would grow on us before deciding that we didn't really like it at all. Too bad. I wish we would have ended up with something that felt more cozy and gave off better directional table lighting. If they had other glass enclosure options we may be able to fix that but it doesn't appear as if they do. The fan actually works well, and it's very quiet on the positive side. November 15, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Light failed after 2 weeks and poorly designed. First, the light failed after 2 weeks. It failed to dim and get brighter as it was supposed to and was stuck on one brightness level. Additionally, the fan is poorly designed. The housing of the fan is out of dimension with the fan blades. The fan looks weird with only 4 blades and the blades are alot smaller than they should be in comparision to the body of the fan. Just didn't look good. I was going to leave it despite the design element, but after the light failed, I took it back and got another fan. Word to Hampton Bay: Add a blade and make the blades larger. They are undersized for the body of the fan. March 3, 2014
