This is not what I expected.
This item claims to have a really important feature: i.e.: Dawn-to-Dusk.
1. item does NOT contain the Dawn-to-Dusk feature
2. the item came with two screws to mount the glass globe, the screws were different sizes (one screw was too short) so I had to go to the store and purchase another one!
3. The exterior screws to mount the lantern to the wall are capped so regardless of how tight you turn the screws you can't get the lantern flush to the wall. The only way to do that is to remove the light fixture shorten the wall mount screws or purchase shorter ones and then re-connect, re-mount and re-screw the capped exterior screws.
4. There was no manual, no directions, no warranty, nothing about the item!
Needless to say, this item is sort of okay - the lantern is the size that the website claims but that is the only thing that was right on this entire purchase.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by lw87 Does what a lamp should.. light the way
The lamp is very nice looking.. it is larger than I anticipated, however, if I had marked the dimensions on a piece of paper so I could have seen, I would have known more up front.
It is a substantially sized fixture.
The detail on it is nice and I like the glass.
The bulb type it takes is one I've not seen before.
It's not a standard screw in bulb.
It has two peg connectors in the base.
I kept looking for the piece to screw it into.. when all else fails.. read the directions.
I will be buying back ups of these bulbs now.. like I said, they are not standard and hopefully not a fly by night connector type that I won't be able to find replacements for in the future.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flyer Great Dusk to Dawn front light
We purchased this light to replace a traditional switch-controlled outside light for in front of our home. This dusk to dawn light is great and never gets left on during the day with the sensor feature. It's nice and large and looks proportional with our large brick home.

The nice thing about this light was that it came in different sizes. We bought the dusk-to-dawn version...easy to replace the old ones & they're working just fine.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ShopMuch Great Buy
We purchased two of these recently. We liked that they were really big (20 in high), that they had frosted glass, which gives a nice warm glow, and they are open at the bottom so they don't collect bugs and are easy to change the bulbs. We like that we can use regular bulbs as well, although 100 watt were way too bright with two of them so we used 60 watt. I see that there are two of these for $69.99 online, one has the dusk to dawn, one does not. Very confusing! We purchased the one that didn't have that feature because we didn't know there was a choice and the ones in the store didn't have the feature. You can add a sensor for $7 to each, which we did. You have to cut a hole in the side of it and wire it in to the light, but it's great because you can go out of town and your lights still go on and off while you are gone. The only issue was my husband had to buy a new screw for one of them because the one in the box was way too long to fit in our mounting. Very nice look overall, I recommend!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JP33 Purchased this item online to replace a defective one.
We originally purchased two of these lamps. One of them became defective (wasn't working), we purchased some of the replacement wiring. Didn't work. Called Home Depot, then referred to Hampton Company. They stated there are no replacement parts. We had the new lamp installed about two weeks ago and, so far so good.
