Does the light fixture twirl when the fan is on?

I've just realized some of the light fixtures twirl as well as the fan blades when the fan blades are turning. I would think that is difficult on the eyes. Does this light fixture twirl with the fan blades?

I am replacing a fan that has a control panel on the wall with separate buttons for the light and fan (including 3 speeds and reverse).

Answer:
The light will work with the wall switch, but there's a delay (1-2 seconds) in when the light/fan works after the switch is flipped (the signal actually goes through the remote).
The fan will only switch on/off when you use the remote... there is not a separate wire inside the housing to connect the fan on/off to a wall switch, so you cannot turn the fan on/off using a wall switch.

Answer:
The original receiver will need to be used with your fan due to the size of the capacitor. Fans that originally come with pull chains function well with wall panels but fans that originally come with their own remotes usually need to be used with its original parts. It would be best to use the original remote for this fan.

I just bought a Tipton II 52" Oil Rubbed Bronze Ceiling Fan with light kit. It looks great and I would like my other fan to match it. Can I get just the light kit?

Rated 3.5 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Fan! Pictures do not do this fan justice! It is beautiful and the lighting is ok, I will get some lamps to go in my room. The installation was a bit tedious due to it being a remote control fan (1st time to install a remote control) but everything else about it is great! If you have high ceilings, which I do, you will absolutely love the remote control. I ended up buying another one for our guest room, the design goes with the rest of my house. June 29, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great, but not a good fan or light The fan looks really nice, but that's where the good stuff ends. The light kit is very small and only holds 2 candelabra-style bulbs, both of which can be a max of 60 wt each... not nearly enough light for our guestroom (which has light-colored walls). Cosmetically, the two different colors of the fan blades aren't very different, which was also a disappointment. Unfortunately, the motor on this fan makes a LOT of noise as the fan rotates... very unpleasant "whom, whom, whom" noise as the motor runs, which is especially bad at low/medium speeds. We've had decent luck with Hampton Bay fans in the past, so I'm not sure if we have a bad version of this model, but we are returning this fan and hope to find something else that works better. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We really like this fan... Assembled and installed the fan in about 1.5 hrs on a 12' sloped ceiling (had to purchase a separate 18" down rod) - instructions were easy enough to follow. The fan fits into our rustic cottage décor, runs quietly, has a remote-controlled dimmer for the light (which provides much more light than most ceiling fan lights - photo shows light dimmed), no screws on the light cover; great for when the bulbs need to be changed, and a 25 year warranty on the motor - the best fan for our situation and the price; we are happy with this choice. Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by I like the look, but lighting is horrible. While I loved the look of this fan, it isn't worth buying. The lighting is dim. We have tried multiple light bulbs in one to try to make it brighter, and one of them we can no longer get the light kit off. We weren't super impressed with the engineering of the light and fan. To me, that was secondary, but the light really is useless. So much so, that we turn that on, with two of out bed side lights just to light up the room. January 8, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice Lots of light, looks very nice. It had a defective remote sensing unit, which the manufacturer knew about immediately when my contractor spoke to them. Apparently a very common occurrence. So apart from the considerable time it took originally for the contractor to try various fixes, plus the cost of the return trip to install the replacement unit when it arrived a week later, it's a nice enough fan. Factoring in the extra money for the contractor's time, it was not a good value. I image a DIY homeowner would be very frustrated if faced with the same issue. The insanely cheap looking/feeling remote control would also randomly attack ceiling fans in other rooms while being used, until the controls were changed. August 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by EPIC FAIL The shipment contained the wrong parts so after paying someone to install the fan, they had to uninstall it so that it could be returned. I was out the cost for the labor and still no fan. Hampton Bay did offer me a $50.00 Home Depot gift card but this did not even cover the cost of the labor I had to pay someone that could not do their job because of Hampton Bay's mistake. The installer told me he had attempted to install another Hampton Bay fan last week for someone and there were several parts missing from the box. I am not normally one to complain, but that is unacceptable and a slap in the face. They should be responsible for the amount of money I was out of pocket for the installation in my opinion. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by perfect I love this fan! Bought it for my son's "big boy room." It runs quiet and foes a great job circulating air. The light dims which is a nice feature for a kid's room. I love that the bulbs are covered - less glare and they are protected when "boys will be boys!" The design is simple and clean lined - fits in well with our transitional design in our 120 year old home. We love it so much we are ordering a second for our other little guy! Great value, you won't be disappointed. June 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great ceiling fan I bought this for my teen son's room about 9 months ago. He was able to put it up without any trouble. I love the look, it's masculine looking and unique. He likes the remote control and the ability to dim the lights. It is not extremely bright. Definitely could not function as the only light source in his room. He has 1 tall torch style lamp and a regular bedside light in addition to the light on the ceiling fan. I would buy again. It seems to be a good ceiling fan for the money. March 1, 2015
