We have installed this flooring in our basement (a large area) I have kids toy room and a homeschool room down there! Paint and play dough has come right off this flooring without distorting the finish. The joints are holding up well to hot wheels as well as plasma cars! No scuffed marks or peeling edges.
We installed this over two years ago. We recently added more floor space (hence more flooring) we think it went together well and with little effort.
We have used pergo in our upstairs bedrooms, hard wood flooring in large areas of our home, and a brand from Lowe's in a bedroom. From our experience the pergo is slightly easier, but this is definitely not hard and worth saving the money.
It is holding up well in our basement installed on concrete with a thin padding (we bought way cheaper on Amazon).

brittle. very easy to damage, install many floors this one big pain, if you have to take up a board if something goes wrong usually board is then waste. edging grooves. breaks way to easy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Deacon Nice after complete, not during install
I have put down several different type of floor manufacturers products; 3 different kinds in my home alone and have to say this is the worst one to install. The pieces are more brittle than other products I have installed, you have to baby these floors planks into place to keep them from cracking and chipping, which they do very easily.
After you get it installed it looks great, just takes a lot of care to install, more than I would think is the normal, since you have to tap these laminate floors in place, this one doesn't like to get hit, no matter how soft you try. The look made me complete it but I will stick with travel master and pergo for any future installs. I will see if this product will last the test of time, and is the issue only limited to installation.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Wooddude Tough to Install
Very difficult to install. Tedious at best when it comes to fitting the planks together. Constant adjustment required when planks come apart during installation. HD offers little to nothing for transition strips, I.e. Laminate to carpet or stair bullnose. Hire a professional to install this floor.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by POed Cheaply made
It was very difficult to install, chips very easily and doesn't click together as easily as other laminate floors do. I could have installed hardwood flooring much faster for only a couple hundred dollars more. Now I am left with multiple gaps where the floor "clicks together" and I will now be covering this eyesore with a bunch of area rugs. Avoid this floor, there are cheaper laminates that are
easier to install than this one.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Holly Lightens up Basement
I decided to get flooring in my basement which was currently concrete. I was painted brown and made the basement drab and dark. I decided to go with laminate floor planking, which I read was good for basements. I chose toasted spalted maple because of its light color. What a difference it made. Basement was transformed. Neighborhors came over and will be doing the same in their basement. Now let's see how it holds up. I hope it doesn't disappoint.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Joeybagofdounuts great laminate for the price and looks awsome. why pay more? heasy to use too.
just installed this new flooring. came out great and the price was right. did a 500 sqft basemane for about $750. definatley spend a little more on a good pad. and also by the install kit it will save your life!!. the floor needs to be very level but other than that it was snap...lol easy to use and cut with a arm saw. Thanks again HD Brewster.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Samar Beautiful and economical
We wanted a laminate floor that was light in color so that it can bring out the espresso oak cabinets in the kitchen. Turned out very nice--great contrast also with dark gray wall in the dining room.
