Installed the fan in the master bedroom. Install was about normal for a ceiling fan. Looks amazing. No wobble whatsoever. Very elegant look especially on low when you can see that it only has 3 blades spinning. Love the contemporary look. The remote comes in very handy.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by fkenb Love the fan but the instructions and information are lacking.
I have installed dozens of ceiling fans but this was the first with a remote. The instructions were extremely vague about the where and how to install the receiver. In the end I was unable to install the receiver until I removed the motor from the downshaft, allowing me to wedge it into the bracket above the downshaft. Still not sure if it is correct, but it works. The only other complaint would be the fact that my electrical outlet has separate wiring and switches for fan and light. No option to bypass remote and use my setup. If I had known that before purchasing I may have made a different decision. Good fan for someone with only 1 switch.

I just bought a home - the ceiling fans were old and not very efficient. I first replaced my bedroom fan with this fan. It was so fantastic - I bought two others. The fan is quite - I love the remote and lack of chains hanging from the fan. It more than adequately cools the room at low or medium setting - I rarely need to use the high setting. Great price - love the three blade design! I would highly recommend this fan to everyone! You can't go wrong with this purchase!

Similar fans can be much more expensive. The three blade fan is higher for some reason. Installation was fairly straightforward. note this fan must use a downrod. I had hoped to install flush but 6" downrod was ok.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MNChristine great product over-all
I really can't complain about any features. The styling is modern but fits with my turn of the century decor (lots of darker wood, light bedding/window coverings, dark accents).
We didn't have to use the balancing tools, it fit together very nicely. After reading other reviews while deciding to purchase this fan... the remote box fits snugly inside the "cap" that attaches to the ceiling box. Installation was relatively easy. About one hour from start to finish. It helps to have two sets of hands, a fillip's screw driver, & wire snips/stripper handy. Make sure you cut the electricity and are mounted to stud and you should be golden. Also, the remote feature makes installation easier - no futzing with a switch - the fan on/off, light on/off, and speed controls are through the remote which comes with a nice mount (I attached it to the side of our headboard - it's a smaller mount and blends into the room nicely/easily).
We love the three speeds; the low speed is perfect to circulate air while we are sleeping to cool the room; medium and high really get air moving (our bedroom is approx 20'x20').
It's worth mentioning that the lighting should be more of an accent - it is dimmer than something with exposed bulbs. We have bed side lamps and between the 3 sources have plenty of lighting for the space.
If the style/amount of light fits your interests look no further... this is a good fan.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ChAmber112103 Great look & price; not-so-great instructions
This fan is a wonderful addition to our morning room/vaulted ceiling. Looks like we paid more than we did & works wonderfully. I am a very frugal shopper & usually have doubts purchasing larger items, as I did with this fan. Was relieved to be extremely happy with it. Also was doubting the fact that a 3-blade fan (instead of 4) would make a difference in the air circulation, but it did not. That puppy makes a room much cooler, quickly, even on low speed. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of 5 was for the awful instructions on the product, as we've encountered before with Hampton Bay.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris Great fan, although install a touch tricky
This is a great looking fan that creates great airflow and has a modern-yet-timeless look. This fan has the look/feel of a much more expensive piece.
Everything you read here about the tricky receiver install is true. It may take a couple of attempts, but if you have patience and leave some extra time you'll figure it out. I suppose an easier option would be to wire the receiver INSIDE the junction box ABOVE the plane of the mounting bracket if you have room there (I didn't) but it will eventually fit when slid above the drop pin.
Another great feature of this product is how super quiet it is. My wife was looking forward to the 'white noise' from the fan to drown out the New York City traffic outside our home at night, and I actually had to buy one of those 'LectricFan machines to make artificial fan sounds because this one made zero noise.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DesignOnABudget Great value.
Looks expensive yet affordable. Simple to install. With all instructions, read then thoroughly first, then again as you do the installation. It's clear that the remote needs to be installed in the canopy if you do this, since reference appears near the end of the instructions! Light source is low. More accent than utilitarian. Also, the glass globe has a yellow cast so the room will take on different feel. Also, the fan can be easily flush mounted if you don't have much ceiling height. I will say the instructions completely left this out and that may be the only real complaint. (It's pretty self explanatory though. You'll end up with a short down rod and small canopy you won't need,).
