I purchased this ceiling, light fan when it was on a great overstock deal and so glad I bought 2 when I did because the very next day when I went to get another the price was double. The fan is very quiet when running the light gives of good light and the look is clean, sleek and modern. Love them in my room and guest room.

What a great fan, and on sale! Very easy to install by one person who has never done it before! JUST READ THE DIRECTIONS!! Installed today, so don't know about longevity! Nice art deco look for my 1938 house! So far I'm thrilled...and cool! Put this in a very small bedroom...moving air hits every inch!

This fan was very easy to install and only took a few minutes. I was impressed that the fan was in balance with out doing anything. The light is a lot more powerful than it appears in the picture. You do have to purchase the battery for the remote separately.

Stylish, Quiet, Dimable Lighting with Remote (which by the way...after EVERY Reviewer spoke about the "Different & Hard to Find" Kind of Battery the remote takes~ NOT ONE REVIEW REVEALED THE TYPE OF BATTERY IT TAKES SO THAT THOSE OF US READING THE REVIEWS COULD BE PREPARED AND PURCHASE THE CORRECT ONE BEFORE THE FAN ARRIVES!!). So, It takes a 12 Volt Battery!! It doesn't have chain pulls, can only change speed, turn on/off and adjust lighting with the Remote or Wall Switch...it also comes with a bracket for hanging. This Fan with Light can easily compliment any decor. We purchased our first 3 Blade fan with Light for our LIVINGROOM a few years ago, also a Hampton Bay, and it still looks and works like brand new. The air that these 3 Blade fans blows easily surpasses any and all of the 5 Blade fans we ever had and still have. All of them will be replaced with the 3 Blade Fans eventually. That's how good they truly are. Living in Florida, ceiling fans are a must and help keep air circulating enough that our air conditioner clicks on less often thus saving money on the electric bill. I am Thrilled with the looks and performance of this beautiful ceiling fan and light. My ONLY suggestion would be, and what I'll be doing immediately, is putting in a different bulb. Halogen bulbs just throw off too much heat.

This is a beautiful, sleek, modern looking fan. It looks wonderful, has no wobble and is virtually silent. After reading all of the other reviews I have to assume that we perhaps got a dud. The installation of this fan was one of the most frustrating experiences we have had, and we have installed many fans over the past several years, being in property management. The directions called for the transmitter for the remote to be sat on top of the mounting bracket, which try as we might we could not get to work. We came up with an alternative to get around that. Then, after tightening everything down and hanging it, it would not work. You could hear the motor but nothing spinning. Take it back down and loosened a few screws and away it went. At this point in time, every new piece we installed we had to go back and loosen screws just to get everything to work. Now that it is installed and working, it is beautiful. But getting there was not easy. And, other reviewers are correct, buy the battery for the remote first. It is an odd one!
