Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Jenny Poor Quality, very disappointed with this purchase
I purchased this table less than one year ago. It has never been exposed to the elements, always kept on our covered back porch. I have only used mild soap and water to wipe it down. Gradually the top has become discolored, almost to the point that it looks stained now. I am frustrated and so angry that I spent $348+ on this table, only to have it look so awful less than a year later. We cannot afford a new table, so we will have to unfortunately live with this mistake. Don't make the same mistake we made. DON'T BUY THIS TABLE!!

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mypalal24 Likely wrong table, peeled and bubbled
If we were delivered the correct table, the table is lighter in color than this picture, the top has a border of wood around it instead of slats going all one direction, and we were disappointed to find it peeling/bubbling after only one night outside. Had to return. Extremely disappointed.

I got this table for a great price on sale, so I decided to risk it even though many of the reviews had said the top of the table would discolor when wet. I went to Home Depot and picked the table up, and then put it out on my deck laying flat (didn't even bother putting the legs on) because they were predicting rain that night. Sure enough, the next morning I looked out at the table and it was covered in whitish blotchy marks from the rain. Put it back in the box and returned it. Spent $550. on the Trex brand table and love it. You get what you pay for.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by ALH1 Great price, cool style, a little off on finish - HIGH VALUE
I would buy this again for the price and for how sturdy it is, however, the finish is a little different than I am used to, as it has the repellant finish... on a composite? So, the rainwater beads up on top and then leaves marks. Also, it could be installation problems, as my hubby says he'll fix it, but two opposing legs are crooked. It isn't too noticable, but it does bug me when I'm sitting nearby and look at it. The fix may be a while coming, as he has to think about how to solve the problem. Otherwise, awesome "look" and nice size for 6-8, depending on the chairs or benches you choose.

This table set is really beautiful. I got the entire set, with matching chairs - that review can be found along with the chairs. With specific regard to the table:
-The composite material is really well done, with would grain detail - but no upkeep!
-Easy assembly, just screw on the legs and you're done
-Can't think of any!
Make sure you have a socket wrench set handy, because the little wrench that comes with the set is useless and very frustrating to use.

This table looks very simple and modern, just what I was looking for. However, I too have the same experience as most of the users here with water stained dots. The table itself is very sturdy but I can't say the same for the coating material. As soon as water hits the table surface, circle like water bubble marks starts to appear. It's not a deal breaker for me since the price was pretty cheap but just never expected the coating to wear off so fast, almost instantly.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SAPfarr Nice table, great price, unusual coating
The table is a nice design and you cannot beat the price. However, it has a plastic coating over the surface that doesn't come off easily. If it is a permanent protective coating it comes off too easily. If it is designed to safeguard during shipping and assembly, it is too difficult to remove. Basically after completing the assembly, the first rainstorm caused the coating to come lose in some locations but any attempt to fully remove it has been extremely difficult

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mngirl love the look but will it hold up?
This table is easy to put together, very sturdy and has wonderful modern lines. The major problem we have had so far is that there seems to be a plastic coating/finish on the table that has failed and is letting moisture underneath. So when it is dry it has a funny whiteish look in some spots and when it is wet and water gets under the white part it turns very dark. We'll see how it holds up over time...
