If you pay full price for this product you're getting ripped off. This is beyond cheaply made. It literally comes folded flat in a box and is mostly brass colored plastic. I needed a chandelier for a rental house that already had brass fixtures in place, so bought this on clearance. But had I paid full price I would have returned it...Im sure you can buy this exact lamp at a garage sale for $10. It was very easy to unfold and install, and because I got it at a clearance price it was a decent value. It is cheaply made and looks it.

I was looking for a brass chandelier to replace a smaller fixture which was out of place in our neo-classic colonial home.(Finding brass finishes in lighting fixtures is quite a challenge nowadays) This one is the perfect size and it defines understated elegance in its design. Not too large or flashy. The price made it a great buy and its 6-light configuration means that its energy consumption will be reasonable (when compared to 8-12 light units). Excellent purchase and highly recommended!!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by BenBetter A big maybe.
The chandelier was new in the box, but it had a dent in the globe and the finish was poor. We swapped parts from our old chandelier to make it work. The one thing that I like is the bright light from the new lamp sockets. The sockets alone were just about worth the sale price. But I could not recommend this product, since if we had been unable to swap parts from our old chandelier, we would have had to return this one.

Got this on sale for under $40. Great and cheap way to fix up the lighting in our dining room. Assembly was fast, though it took a bit of effort to snake the wiring through the housing. The arms and stem were a bit loose, so we had to play around with them to get them to sit right. It's definitely a cheap fixture but you have to be right on top of it to really notice. Would definitely buy it again if we had to do it all over.

I re-wired this chandelier as a plug-in and hung it in a holiday market stall in NYC. It looks great, works great and I have received many compliments! It's light and easy to put together. After the market, I think I will oxidize the brass and hang it in my house. The material is not high-quality, as you can guess from the price, but the design of the chandelier is really elegant. Very good value!

the Williamsburg chandelier came in today, was very easy to install and only needed minimal tools to install. once hung, the fixture looked great. I paid only $39.99 for this light and its worth just that. this style is impossible to find, and the current trend favors brushed nickel and the darker finishes. for some reason polished brass is out....

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OhioWoodworker Great light- works and looks great (I painted it to match room)
Exceptional value and looks great. I mounted it close to the ceiling,so I didn't need the length of the chain - but it is a nice feature if you need it. Easy to assemble but make sure you have the final nut above the wire before final hook-up. I had to disconnect and start over but that was my fault not the instructions.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by sandy defective item made in China!!!!!!
This item should have been pulled off shelf or was that the reason for the discounted price? Just because China does not have any standards for quality, al USA workers should STEP UP!!! My husband had to push out the wrap pieces on the item so it could be used. we will only shop in store now.
