I loved this set since I first saw it in my local store. When I saw it on sale I had to get it. I thought the price was high for 3 pieces but at the sale price I couldn't pass it up. The table is the perfect size, light weight and sturdy. My issue is the chairs. One of the chairs is perfect the other one is riddled with problems. The wicker looks nicked and broken in multiple spots. It almost looks used but it was sealed in the box and the box looked in good condition. This leads me to believe it came from the factory this way. The second problem with the same chair is that the base unit will not attach to the top. The holes will not line up rendering the chair useless. I am disappointed but am going to contact Home Depot to see if they can help. I would like to keep the set but not if I can't use it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by AussieLady Top quality, easy to assemble, and looks great!
When the box arrived containing this bistro set, I was a bit surprised at how heavy it was, considering it was only two chairs and a table! After removing all the components from the box, it was quickly apparent that the weight could be attributed to the really nice quality. There is nothing low-grade about this set!
I decided to assemble the table first, which is simply a table top and two leg pieces that intersect, all pieces bolted together. The top and legs are all metal, with a dark brown “wood grain” finish. Typical of Hampton Bay quality, there are even little dark brown “covers” to put over the metal bolts so they don’t show. Nice. It’s small things like that which prove that sometimes paying a little more is worthwhile. I would say to be careful when assembling because it’s easy to accidentally scratch the finish.
The chairs assemble very easily, just as the table did, and the only difference is that there are a few more bolts in the assembly. But basically it’s a chair part which bolts to a metal base. It took me next to no time to assemble the first chair, but I would recommend not tightening the bolts completely until all of them are loosely screwed in, just to make sure the chair sits snugly on the base. After tightening all the bolts, I put the same little dark brown “covers” over them to finish. Assembling the second chair was a piece of cake.
I really like the appearance of the wicker. Although it’s a resin wicker (polyethelene, a nice word for plastic), it looks like “real” wicker, not just dark brown woven plastic such as some other patio furniture I saw recently at a large discount chain. The beauty of this faux wicker is that it is weatherproof and easy to clean with a damp cloth.
I especially like that both the table legs and the chair legs each have a small, round, plastic “leveler” on the bottom that can be screwed in or out to adjust for uneven patio surfaces. I have handmade Saltillo tiles on my patio and each one is different, so this leg adjustment option is a real bonus.
The fabric in both the seat cushion and the lumbar pillow is sturdy. The seat cushions fit really well, and the side of the cushion that goes against the chair back is slightly “rounded” for a good fit. All the cushion covers have zippers for easy removal and cleaning which is great.
This bistro set has replaced a pair of wooden chairs and a table that I only bought a few years ago which was supposedly weather-resistant and really wasn’t. I am very happy with this new Hampton Bay resin wicker and metal bistro set because it’s obvious it will stand up to the weather far more effectively, although I do plan to buy some patio furniture covers for added protection in bad weather.
Anyone with an outdoor space big enough for two chairs and a table could not go wrong in choosing this ensemble. You could even put it on an apartment balcony!

I would recommend this set to anyone looking for a finishing piece for a room. I got a great bargin with this set on sale for about half off regular price. The set is very heavy and durable to nice to be put outside. I suggest this item for a sun room, solarium or game room. This purchase was well worth the money spent. Easy assembly in a few minutes.

This product looks really nice and works really well, the construction was a little cheaper and flimsier than i had been hoping for based on the price, but overall it's good product and we're very happy with it.

The instructions were very clear and easy and the parts were well marked. The only trouble I had was I have been unable to put one of the screws in because the holes don't line up.

Nice piece. The table height is kind of odd w the chairs. Not adequate for legs to fit under but table is larger than normal end table.

Nice product, well built and appears to be durable. The colors are well coordinated. One improvement I suggest is to improve the assembly manual as it relates to attaching the legs, there is a front and rear but they can be mounted either way and there is no clear way to identify which is which.
