Be careful when you go to drill out the hole for the door handle, using the measurements they supply, it is too close to the edge of the door frame, i moved the center to the right a 1/4 inch. They said you need 6 bundles of shingles, if you use Timberline Dimensional shingles, you will only need 4 bundles and have a few left over with very little waste. The floor frame is 24 inch on center, so you MUST use 3/4 plywood or your floor will be saggy. There are many places where they supply different size nails for construction, but i used screws for all areas and it went together seamlessly. I also installed roof vents to let the heat out. I have it so full already that I think I need another one!

It's disappointing that although you're provided wood for the floor, the floor is not included. Also, the instructions are Very difficult to follow and slow down the process. The process would be much simpler if the manufacturer used a number system stamped on each piece and list them out in the instructions.

In less than a year, this shed went thru a noreastern, small tornado 3/31/2017. Our house had damage and siding ripped off, other houses had walls ripped, fences were flattened. the shed took it like a champ, it is standing tall and proud. highly recommend this shed. Hardware supplied in the parts list (barrel bolts) were incorrect and had to be purchased. Wood marked "premium" was so twisted and warped it could not be used - I had to go to the home store to replace them as well. The instruction manual was well written and easy to follow however.

Sturdy and will meet the need. Decent value. Cons: All of the extras I had to buy, a few warped pieces of lumber, less than perfect instructions. Price seems a little high for having to buy all of the extras like nails, OBS, shingles, lumber to re-enforce floor, ramp, paint, cinder blocks to level, 4x4s for base, ridge vent, glue, caulk, etc. Tips: Took a while for me to assemble - a nail gun would have decreased my time significantly. Organize pieces so they don't get mixed up (i.e. - there are several pieces of lumber that are the same length, but 6 are 2x2 and 2 are 2x3 - easy to confuse. Consider venting the shed with ridge vents and soffit vents or side wall vents. DEFINITELY reinforce the floor by doubling floor joists as the OSB will sag without it. Consider running a 3rd rail down the middle too. Make sure you have all of the other tools needed like caulk gun, metal shears, level, chalk box, drill that can accept 1/2" drill bit, razor blades, 2nd person to help.

Assembly went smoothly and the instructions were excellent. Here are a few thoughts I'd like to share: 1. Spend a little extra and install the additional floor joists. It makes the floor much more solid. 2. We floored the shed as suggested in the instructions and glued sheet vinyl down for a nice waterproof surface that's easy to clean and quite attractive. 3. We found installing the two largest roof panels was much easier if you saw them in half lengthwise. 4. Buy, borrow or rent a framing nailer and collated 2" and 3" nails. It will speed the assembly dramatically. 5. We tired of trying to drive the phillips head screws with the bit slipping in the heads. We bought torks-head screws and problem solved!

I used 3/4" plywood for the floor, six concrete piers sunk in gravel and it went together easier than I had anticipated. The hardest part of construction was getting the roof panels "square." Two suggestions. While I appreciated the included drive screws, Phillips heads are difficult to drive home because they are susceptible to stripping. I bought a pack of "starhead" drive screws which made the job a LOT easier. Also, for feeble eyes, I'd like to see the directions in a booklet TWICE the original size. (8"x10") I painted it with two coats of exterior latex to match our home and skirted the bottom with vinyl lattice work to give it a more finished look. Yes, I'd recommend. You'll need some help raising and fastening all the walls in place.
