To be perfectly honest this is a great product. However, if you're not a carpenter, you may experience some problems. You don't really save too much by buying it and putting it together yourself. Shingles are an added expense as well (about $250) plus screws. They do provide nails and some screws but they are horrible quality. So as the worlds turns, it much more economical and faster to have it delivered assembled.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by trutxn13 Good buy, but, watch out for the instructions.
I wasn't happy with the delivery of the product. A 53' tractor trailer and only one driver to unload the pallet. Speaking of the pallet, it was the worst display of carpentry work I have ever seen on a pallet that should have been designed to hold the 2080 lb shed kit. In reality it took two country boys and a truck driver to unload the shed kit.
I was happy with the shed kit with a few exceptions. Some of the boards were twisted and/or bowed. The instructions were not entirely clear and the accompanying drawings were less than accurate. The process would have been much easier and faster to complete if the instructions were written to an audience of first time shed kit builders. Also, the letters stamped on the end of the double and triple letter designated boards were very hard to read especially on rough ends of the boards. Finally, there were three seams on one side of the shed where the siding met and the vertical 2 x 4's didn't match up. It made the seams pliable and I bought additional 2 x 4's to fix it.
All in all the shed looks like a good buy that will last a lifetime, however, if you are a stickler for following instructions, beware, you'll need some ibuprofen and cold beer.

I assembled this shed with my sons and grand daughter. The big problem is that the bill of materials (there are 2 of them for my shed (10 x 16) are missing some items and others like the gable trim was changed but the bills and drawings were not. The changes would have made assembly easier if the instructions were correct.

I'm not a carpenter, but son and I were able to build the 10X16 shed w/floor and one window in two days. The third day we ran the electical (five outlets and two lights) and shingled the roof. We saved $2000 by building it ourselves. Once we ordered the shed, it arrived within 7 days. No missing pieces or parts!
This was the second shed that we ordered through Home Depot. My son has one at his house that we built last year. Very happy with the sheds.

This a pretty good shed kit. You must follow the directions or you will mess this thing up! And the only problem is that the directions aren't as detailed as they need to be otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. Buy it, organize the lumber and follow the directions and you will be fine. I also decided to spend the money and buy pressure treated lumber for by bottom plate and I would recommend this to everyone else also.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Dantheman The shed has an excellent design, and is easy to put together.
This shed is ideal for storage and more. The instructions come with multiple layouts, so the owner can pick an appropriate design tailored for his/ her specific purpose. The material is solid, and all the pieces are pre-cut, making it easy to assemble.
