Answer:
No. I measure the foot width at 17" and that's on a good day. I place it sideways in my tub; and it works just fine.

Answer:
Hello, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the feet will fit, as they are 17" apart on this particular bath seat. However, we do offer other seats that will fit, such as model # 522-9801-1900. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns regarding this product. Sincerely, HealthSmart.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent shower bench Easily assembled by hand with no tools needed. Took me about 7 minutes and that's because I read the instructions first. December 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by missing pcs product would have been put together faster if it came with the correct hdwe.. directions said it had 5 bent washers when in fact there was one bent and 4 flat washers. the directions stated if there were missing pcs to call the 800# and not return it to the store, but when I called the 800 # , they said I had to return the whole unit for an exchange which was too much trouble for 4 small washers, so my husband bent them on a vice. very contradictory information. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Made....Durable and Strong Well worth the xtra money..Well contructed, strong and durable January 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beware of rust This is a nice bath stool but the rubber caps on the legs have steel discs inside which will rust I rated it 3 because I had to clean rust out of my shower I did remove the discs and there has been no more rust but I am sure that the end caps on the legs will not last as long due to the legs cutting into them October 7, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by O.K. Incorrect assembly parts came in the box from the manufacturer. When I called them they said that the Home Depot would need to replace incorrect items. When I called HD customer service they said to come in and they will replace incorrect items. Thank You Home Depot! :) September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Makes taking showers easier When I first received it, the legs were different lengths (assembly required), which caused the seat to rock. Contacted the company and they sent new legs. Now it is level. Works great, Rubber cups on legs prevents it from sliding. Very sturdy. I had major back surgery, three neck surgeries and arthritis in my knees. My balance is not good and legs are weak but I have no problem sitting on this. July 26, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Bath seat We like how easy it was to assemble and to adjust hight October 7, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Would not buy This is a cheaply made seat. When you sit on it the legs bend out and are never even. This is realistically made for olderish people to sit in the shower. I bought it purely to shave my legs while in the shower. I would not recommend this to anyone that is not okay with being insecure while sitting on a seat. You get what you pay for is the old adage right? August 27, 2013
