My sister-in-law is a large woman and I don't think she could fit through if both sides are installed.

Rated 3.1 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by junk Very wobbly, unstable. Arms were to high, was unable to push myself up. I weigh 115 so that was not the problem. August 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not what you would expect of an ADA certifed device. Not what you would expect of an ADA certifed device. Wobbly and not height adjustable. April 19, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Toilet safety arm support. They didn' sit level on the toilet. The legs angled back at about a 30-40 degree angle from the floor and could not be adjusted. September 2, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by It didn't work well at all... wobled badly... Although easy to install, because it had only two legs... and needed four for stability... it wobled all over the place and made my husband uneasy....it was hard to use and hard to reach the "flush" value... Overall, it is a poorly designed product for the elderly and those that need help getting off the toilet... June 2, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not totally adjustable The adjustment for height is only on the front. Need adjustment on the back. Also the unit wobbles. It doesn't feel sturdy. June 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very smart purchase! I bought this for my mother as she was having trouble getting up. She is 90. Now she has no problem where she might fall and get hurt in the restroom. May 5, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Flimsy quality, not reliable or safe This is supposed to provide balance and support when sitting on and getting up from a toilet, right? Well, though it's relatively easy to put together, the arms aren't sturdy and it's easy to feel like you can't depend on these to keep you up. When in place, the arms shake a lot, and for anyone who needs the solid balance support, this isn't comforting. Also, the height of the arms aren't adjustable beyond a few preset levels. I ended up returning this to buy something that provided everything we needed for the same cost. July 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by decent product installation is simple very adjustable however one drawback is that it is somewhat wobbly March 24, 2015
