Answer:
A sink base has a hole in the top and is hollow behind the front doors. That allows for the sink to be dropped in and the plumbing to be connected.
A regular base has shelves behind the front doors and not enough space for a sink to be dropped in.

When you are unpacking it, pull all the parts out and line them up along the wall. They are stamped with letters A- K or something like that. I lined them up in order so I made sure I had everything. Count all the little parts in the bag and compare them against the instructions to make sure you have all you need. I was able to assemble it by myself, but it's easier if you have a helper. You have to glue pegs into all the sides and then you have to put them together. That's where the helper comes in handy.
Good luck. Read Less

Rated 3.3 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Damaged peices Overall a decent product fro the price. I would have given it a higher rating, however, the disappointment was that 3 pieces were damaged. Had to do the work so did not have the time to return the product. October 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Worked beautifully for our purposes....... We purchased this cabinet to use for recycling and trash bin storage.........it worked out perfectly. Easy to assemble and good quality. August 18, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not so Great Side walls (both) split upon assembly. Doors run all the way to the top of the cabinet so it is impossible to attach a pre-made laminate counter top (the doors won't open. I returned the item and purchased a different style of sink base cabinet (at a different retailer) I was not able to purchase what I needed (for in store pick-up) from HomeDepot.com, plus delivery charges to home were really expensive. Delivery for the above item (which I returned to store with no problem) was Free to Home. This was just one of those purchases that wasn't meant to be easy. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good product This base is easy to assembly ,but I changed the use I install a plate at the top ,and one shelf, in the mid of the base let it as a wide use cabinet . That is very nice . June 23, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great deal Cabinets were very easy to assemble, functional and look very good. A great choice if you are not looking to spend a lot of money. February 29, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Bad decision Bad quality, strength and stability questionable. We put one unit together and it didn't turn out well we decided it was best to quit while we were a head and take it apart and return all 6 cabinets. Then we purchased the assembled cabinets in stck at the store. Much better choice worth the extra $$ January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive but looks good It's an inexpensive laminated fiberboard base cabinet. I attached a 4' countertop and am using it as an additional work surface in a kitchen I'm remodeling. It ships knocked-down and assembles easily with a Phillips screwdriver and a little wood glue which is included. The instructions are easy to follow and well illustrated. I had to add 1/4 inches of shim stock under the countertop so the front edge would clear the doors. The European hidden door hinges are fully adjustable and allow for perfect door alignment. The cabinet does not include door hardware nor are the doors pre-drilled for any. It serves me well as a storage cabinet and is of ample size for any standard 22x33 sink. It's not high-end but it looks good, is sturdy and works as advertised. October 31, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by design problem Why make a low cost sink base that doesn't allow for standard low cost counter top 1/2 inch overhang. Thus you have to move the doors down or raise the entire counter top 1/2 inch off the base and trim the gap on the end if it isn't hidden. June 24, 2015
