Customer Questions & Answers

Can I run diesel fuel in this heater

Asked by: CS
Yes, I've had this brand of heater for 5 years and have ONLY run diesel through them. I don't know if it's dirtier than kerosene, but the diesel has worked flawlessly for a long time.

can this run diesel

can this run diesel
Asked by: craig
According to the owner's manual: "#2 fuel oil (diesel fuel) may also be used if 1-K kerosene is not available. Be advised that these fuels do not burn as clean as 1-K kerosene, and care should be taken to provide more fresh air ventilation to accommodate any added contaminants that may be added to the heated space. Using diesel fuel can cause excess soot production."
