Directs air as intended. Perfect location as a table sits directly over the vent.

These work outstanding by directing the air into the lower part of room instead of straight up and going to celling. Has cut our electric bill in Phoenix Summers. These are labeled unbreakable and have accidently kicked a couple of times not a scratch.

I attached it to the wall heating vent in my apartment to direct hot air away from my couch. It lasted about 10 minutes before warping and coming apart. Pretty bad idea to make a heat deflector out of a plastic that can't handle much heat...

A total no-brainer for floor vents and the magnets really stick. if your house is loaded with windows that have floor vents right under them (????) these are a simple fix.

I purchased a older home and well the vents are in the floor as most are on older homes. With this you have the pain of trying to put furniture and worry about it covering up the vent. When i found the great price and quality of these i ordered as many as i needed instantly! Since then i have rearranged my rooms and it has been great!!!!!!!!!!! They are great quality and the magnets are very strong (one even lifted my vent out of the hole when i was moving it to vacuum!) Also with this i have found our house get so much colder now it actually puts the air into the room more!

I like what the product represents, but I think the shield be made of a thicker substance. When you put it on your vent it is somewhat flimsy.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by woodburner great for those silly floor registers that blow upwards
My home mostly has heat registers that blow the warm air upwards. In addition to the fact that this puts the vertical blinds into a frenzy, the air that is intended to warm the room just rises that much faster and doesn't do the job. The most noticeable improvement with these was that the vertical blinds are now calm when the heat comes on. Big plus. The other is that the heat seems to distribute more in the room before it rises. Not sure I can provide evidence of this, but it makes sense to me that these contribute to a better convection. The only down side is that the magnets are just magnets and can be kicked out of place. If these deflectors were made to adhere more permanently, though, they would break, so it works best as is.
