Remove the small screw at the back of the sensor to remove the back. Pull up and out to remove back. Batteries are nestled right under the cover. Reverse procedure to replace back.

Multiple Lights

I am planning on install 3 or 4 of these lights around my house. Will the wireless sensor from one light trigger all the lights to turn on? Or, can a sensor be set to communicate with ony one of the lights?

Customer Reviews

240 Degree White Wireless Motion Sensor Outdoor Security Light with Light Kit is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Dependent on batteries We ordered two. One of them quit working at about 2 months of use. In the other one, the sensor batteries needed to be replaced at about 2 1/2 months of consistent nighttime use - not economically smart or reliable for security lights. It's a hassel trying to access them for a battery change and homeowners have more important things to take care of on the weekends. Otherwise it's a bright light and the sensors did give some flexibility in creating a "security net" around the house. It's a good concept, but needs work..We ended up returning both lights.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I ordered this light after trying out several others. This one works very well! I like that this light comes with 2 sensors as opposed to just one. The sensors work great! All you have to do is insert two AAA batteries in each sensor and you mount them anywhere around the house or garage. The lights are pretty bright. This worked out for us and saved us lots of money since we dont have a light by our basement entrance. We had a bulb just above the deck, so we wired this light to that socket and it illuminates the whole deck and the basement entrance. You save money with these wireless lights since they're easy to install and you don't' have to pay anyone to do it for you. Totally recommend it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Purchase that fit my outdoor security lighting needs! I have a shed in my yard that is a clear 50 to 75 feet away from the light. I placed 1 sensor on it and it works perfectly! I placed the other sensor right by the light and of course it works. Having 2 wireless sensors is amazing. This product works effectively. I have 2 corners around the back of my house and the 2 sensors cover the corners well. Makes any type of burglar think otherwise!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst sensor light I have ever used I've had this motion sensor light for 2 years. It is the most terrible design I've ever seen. It will work for a few days and then it will either stop working completely, or the light will remain on permanently. The only way to reset this it to flip the breaker for the light and then it works again for a few days. I've tried changing the codes on the remotes and the light and changing the batteries. Do not buy this light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Designed Floodlight System Ever!! My first clue should have been when it didn't fit onto a standard junction box. My second clue should have been when there was a single, center point mounting system to attach - these never work well, especially when there are 5 wire junctions to cram past it into the box. My third clue should have been when I went to tighten it to the junction box, I stripped the screw trying to make it stop wobbling - never would tighten down. Whatever moron designed this should be made to install it - then he/she might decide it needs a few tweaks!! Very disappointing purchase that is being returned tomorrow. Now the search continues for a good wireless system since this seems to be the only one Home Depot carries.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Only used the sensors I bought this light strictly for the motion sensors as they are the same sensors that came with Zenith switches I bought a few years back and buying this light kit is the cheapest way to buy replacements. I bought four sensors 5-6 years ago and I had two failures. In my opinion 50% is not a good failure rate in five years. I usually get about one year out of the batteries (I always use Alkaline). I can't recommend a product that fails in five year. When they work, the sensors do a good job. The wireless setup gives you a lot flexibility in the placement of the sensors.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor performance The are issues with the communication between the remote units and the main unit even when the two are only a few feet apart. Lights will turn on then NOT turn off. Appears to be a poor design.
