Has this product been improved since all these negatives have appeared from buyers? If not, exactly what environment is ideal to get success, i.e. distance switch is from lamp, lamp socket efficiency, wattage of bulbs used,. I do not want to waste any more time nor dollars with motion sensors which do not work more than five minutes or switches which are "picky" as to when they want to work.
Why can we go to the moon, yet no one can figure out how to make a room motion sensor nor a wireless light switch work dependably?

Needless to say, this constant plugging and unplugging defeats the idea of "wireless" or "remote" switching. I turned mine on FOREVER (expensive electric bill) but when THE ELECTRICITY GOES OUT, SAY IN A STORM, again, you have to go reset the plug at the wall. We can go to the moon but, etc, etc, no remote lamp turn on/off can be invented. HOME DEPOT SHOULD HAVE HELPED THE BUYERS BUT DID NOT. NO WONDER IT HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED. Read Less

Answer:
Yes, but each socket needs to be the same transmission code letter (ie:"C" or "D") in order to be compatible. However, the socket portion is not sold separately, so you would need to purchase 4 complete kits for what you are asking.

Lamp Socket and Switch Kit is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 57.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from possible solution to intermittent workability problem i have this product and was also having the same issues as others regarding the light not working sometimes, after troubleshooting everything ( bulb, battery, making sure the on/off switch on the wall plate was making contact with the inside contacts) i realized that what the real problem was actually none of these. SOULUTION FOR ME: the end of the bulb itself was not making good contact with the inside of socket unit all the time because the inside contact of the socket had over time gotten pushed down, all i did was pull the little gold tab up a little with my nail and have had no problems since. hope this saves everyone a little bit of time and frustrations. christine

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So Very Easy!!! I just had a screened in porch built and I installed 2 light posts on either side of the porch on the outside. I am pretty skilled with wiring and many things electrical, but I didn't want to fool with installing a wired switch in my house. I didn't want to have to cut more holes in the walls for 2 light switches. This was the perfect solution for me. I was able to straight wire the light posts from the circuit breaker and still be able to control the lights from inside the house. Great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from works great! This product works great. I was able to put light with switch in both sides of my attic without the price and inconvience of hiring an electrician. I previously had pull cords for lights. The one thing I had difficulty with was that I was sent the same channel for both switches and this would not work from both ends of house. Home Depot was helpful in contacting company and getting me a different channel. There is not an option online to specify different channels when ordering as customer. Switches must be 100' apart in order to work on same frequency.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy fix for broken pull chain light socket. Works great !!! My wife is very pleased she doesn't have to lean over the washing machine to pull the chain on our old light socket. You have to careful not to switch the light on and off too quickly. If you do the toggle on the switch may end up in the opposite position. If this happens, it's an easy fix, you just cycle the switch quickly and it returns to it's normal position.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product This product is great only takes minutes to install and your light is connected to a switch. It works so well I will be ordering 3 addl switches for our closets that presently all have pull cords.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Might be an excellent product I bought this socket, easy install, worked perfectly. Ordered second socket for another lamp in same room, noticed that there was a clicking sound as I gently screwed it in, a noise I did not hear with the first installation. Flipped on the second switch and the FIRST lamp came on. Nothing on the new installation of the second lamp. HELP. Will recommend this product if I can get it to work. My goal is to have BOTH lamps controlled by one flip of the switch. Have ordered the outlet adapter to see if that will do the job. PS Both sockets are Es.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lamp socket and switch kit This was very easy to set up and use. Rather than call in an electrician to have the light changed from a pull chain to a switch I was able to do it myself with no help whatsoever. Highly recommend this product for homeowners with older homes and/or older electrical wiring.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wireless light switch This product does exactly what it is designed to do. We had a closet that has a light with a pull chain. Pull chain was breaking and working the light bulb loose. With this switch the problem is solved.
