This button was almost perfect. It was a tight squeeze to fit it into my old doorbell plate, so I ended up having to break one of the tabs on the back of button (there are four). It was no big deal and now the button fits perfectly, and I didn't have to pay for a whole new button assembly.

A well designed push button as compared to others. Installation was easy as the connection screws were located in the right place.

All we needed was the button, so that's what we bought - this nifty little button right here. As we were putting it in our mid-century home's vintage doorbell , before we could even pop it in, the whole thing fell apart. One of the screws was in so tight, that it could not be unscrewed and as I am struggling with it, the whole things falls apart with light-bulb falling out. So I just brought it back to the store - the Home Depot easily accepted it back - and bought a new door bell. I ended up spending more in gas for two trip to Home Depot, than it cost to replace the whole thing.

Bought one of these at the local Home Depot store. NOT 'lighted' !!!
Excessively strong spring to overcome to activate button. Returned.

The push-button part of my $20 doorbell broke. The doorbell did not come from Home Depot, by the way. So, hop on down to the HD and grab this little guy for tree-fiddy. Pop out the broke button, throw in the new one, and what does a player hear?
Beats shelling out another Jackson. Props to H to da D!

The button would not stay in the doorbell button gang plate. The flimsy metals tabs do not provide enough tension to prevent it from popping out of the plate.
