Answer:
It goes pretty much with any wired chime. It just closes the contact when the button is pushed and activates the "noise box" inside the house.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 16 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No Brainer Replaced a broken existing doorbell button that was mounted on the outside of the wood. Made me a little nervous drilling into the wall (I'm a new DIY'er) to install this one but it worked like a charm. July 22, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Brass The look was perfect for our brand new home. It only took about 5 minutes for my husband to install this new door bell. August 28, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Working Well Very attractive, lit up for visitors to notice and is working very well. Easy to install and recommended to everyone. May 19, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Cheaply made From the outside this is a nice looking doorbell. but on the inside it is cheaply made. A tab was broke off therefor the doorbell was useless. I tried to super glue the back plastic piece in the back but it failed. Ended up trashing this one. It would of cost me more to ship it back than what it was worth.. April 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect The new lights are perfect. They were easy to install and the match the door knob and door bell ringer perfectly. The neighbors that do not speak, walk by, smile and nod their heads now; the neighbors I talk with tell me how good everything looks, that it's uniform and where did I buy the lights. Thanks! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Decorative Doorbell This is a really nice doorbell of high quality and design. I had someone else install it, but it was not difficult to do, and I would definitely recommend it. February 10, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very poor quality This looks really nice but, as another reviewer stated, "looks can be deceiving". First of all, this looks like metal. It's not; just plastic with a metallic coating. Second, the button does not fit tightly enough in the hole in the mounting plate; cheap, thin brass tabs are meant to hold it in place but they aren't strong enough or shaped right to do the job. As a result, when you start to screw the mounting plate on the door frame the button gets pushed out. Third, as another reviewer noted, the screws are way too brightly finished - they don't match the finish on the mounting plate. Fourth, the price is outrageous for something of such poor quality. Don't waste your money on this. This one is going back. I'll be looking for another brand at another store. April 22, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broke immediately This is a nice looking doorbell. Unfortunately when I tried to unscrew the contact screws the entire black plastic piece (held on with bent tabs) came off -- even before I got the screws loosened! (and no, I wasn't trying to tighten them either!). Very disappointed with the quality of mine, then when I tried to re-install the black back, one of the tabs broke off. The jury is out on whether or not this doorbell will ever work, I'll find out after the Crazy Glue dries... September 25, 2015
