Customer Questions & Answers

Are these doorbell ringers universal or must it be used with a Heath Zenith unit?

Asked by: Anonymous
This push button will work with most doorbell models. If you have a doorbell that has an electronic sound base (it plays songs or melodies through a speaker) and not a standard mechanical tone bar (limited to ding-dong and ding sounds), then you will need to put a diode on your push button. Please see the image below for an explanation on how to do that. If you do have an electronic sound base, your current push button has a diode that you can use with your new push button.

Customer Reviews

Wired Unlighted Push Button-DISCONTINUED is rated 1.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from cheap screws for wires do not tighten because they are going into plastic. item is outside in the weather so connections need to be tight. Product failed to work after several weeks because of wire oxidation. DO NOT BUY
