Bought 2 of these today, first was missing pieces in the button. I went and picked up another and began to try and make it work. It was a different style internally. The engineer was a genius to come up with a battery connection that ejects the battery when snapped into the holder. Then range is sketchy at best, A door knocker would beat this thing on its best day. Maybe hang the ringer on a string, it may ring when it hits something. Better chance of that than a random radio signal making it go off. I still have to buy another wireless doorbell for my clients home, because I am 97.9% sure this thing will get smashed to pieces before I return it to home depot to get repackaged and used to torture another unsuspecting buyer. I lost money buy purchasing this item and will avoid Heath/Zenith from now on

This doorbell does not work well. It will ring 3 or 4 times and then quit working. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Seems I had to be between 10 and 15 feet with button and chime. I didn't quite like that part.

It sounds horrible. Doesn't even try to sound like a real chime. Picture a cheap greeting card that plays music and stick that in a doorbell with poor range.

What should have been a 10 minute job took me over four hours and three trips to Home Depot. The first trip to Home Depot, I grab this product. The box was closed. Arriving home, I open the box to notice that the product inside is not the correct one; it is the wired version. Second trip to Home Depot: wait in line to return, go grab another box. Open it in the store to verify that it is the correct product. Arriving home fiddle with it for an hour and it is impossible to get to work; a dud! Third trip to Home Depot: wait in line, again, to return. Go grab another box, check the product, go back home and install. It works, finally. Two days later, it stops working. The unit de-synchronized with the push-button. Go through the process to re-sync. Has been working ever since (a month).
Clearly the Quality Control on this product is of questionable value.

It doesn't work out-of-the-box: you have sync the button with the bell. now every once in a while i'll miss a package or visitor who says they rang the bell but no one answered. I check the bell and sure enough its not working, and I have to re-sync the button to the bell again, this has happened about a dozen times. I think there is a wireless remote in my home that interferes and un-syncs the bell and button. Regardless I will have to buy a new door bell system: one that is reliable and works constantly.

The range is very limited, not what is stated on the box at all. I only got 20-30 feet out of it. I had a very difficult time finding a spot where it would work for all the doors. One good point is that you can mount the chime almost anywhere.
Oh yes, the double sided tape does not hold for long either. Buttons must be screw mounted.

Just doesn't work. It's going back. Well, it works if the sender and the receiver are no more than six feet apart.
