We have 2 of these and one was dropped and no longer worked. We just replaced it. We sometimes have trouble getting it positioned in a place with electricity, not too far from the door sensor, that is also where we can hear it well and so as not to have to turn it wide open on the volume and be too loud when you are next to it. Overall good product. Used in a retail store for areas that were hard to hear the door chimes already in place.

We had it up about a week before the battery died, went to go change the battery and with a new battery it didn't chime. Worked with it for about 20 minutes before finally giving up, new batteries new location didn't work at all except for the first week. It was also amazingly difficult to get mounted to that it would chime when the door was opened.

System works ok. A little work to get setup properly, but then it worked 95% of the time.

The door chime would work when holding the magnetic sensor; however, it would not function once mounted. Not worth the money.

Bought it for our office to notify us when a customer walks in so we can hear in the back. The sensor only worked a quarter of the time because the pieces had to be tightly pressed together. It claims they can be a 1/2" apart and work but it was not working. Very frustrating and waste of my time.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Maryland Works fine, but don't count on the range
This works as advertised, and was easy to install. However, the 100 foot range seems greatly overstated, especially if there's not a direct line-of-sight path between the sensor and the chime. I had about twenty-five feet between the door and where I wanted to plug in the chime, but that went around two corners. So I had to put the chime on an extension cord and so eliminate six feet of distance and, more important, one of those corners. As another reviewer pointed out, they're a little stingy with the double sided tape; you may want to buy some more substantial stuff if you're not mounting it with screws.
