Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wireless Door Bell that Rings Needed a second door bell in a separate part of the home. Had tried 5 different models that were wireless and battery. The range was limited to about 15 feet. Couldn't get them to work beyond that range That was a question in its self. I took the advice of the Home Depot Associate and spent a bit more money and purchased the one you plug in to an outlet. Works like a dream. The Daycare kids love it because it plays tunes, The kids run out and push the button and then run back inside to hear whats playing, we keep them on their toes by switching it up often. Fun. It is very easy to install and the button only has two screws, the ringer plugs into an outlet and you are in business, Good for the money, Serves its purpose and then some. The volume control is nice. Good investment January 22, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dinner Bell or Help Needed Chime Application My wife has limited mobility so I used the wireless door chime kit to provide a method of calling me if I am working in the shop or in the yard. The pushbutton is in the kitchen and the chime is in at and outside vent in my shop. This setup serves the intended purpose. May 27, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Work well... just not long We moved into a new home a couple of years ago. There were two of these already in place and worked well. Less than one year in and both receivers (chimes) were dead, We replaced both receivers at our own expense. A little over one year later and both receivers are no longer working .... again. We have been through 4 chimes now. We are not home often and we have no small children. These things were used maybe once per week... maybe. I kept the receipt and manuals this time, The manufacturer customer service and tech support were both kind and helpful. They have replaced both receivers. I am only giving these one more chance. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to install! great Idea!! This is a good concept! But it does not have a good volume and the button has to be pressed for at least 10 seconds for the bell to work and most people only push the button and let up. thus the person ends up knocking! May 13, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by How to fix door bell reception problem. I you are having trouble with this device. There is an issue with the door bell's (transmitter) antenna. By attaching a paper clip to the top screen inside and looping it around the small metal bracket at the top you can increase the transmission range of the door bell. This worked for me.
