I am a keen gardener and love rain water harvesting. It is great for the plants in my garden. I found the 156g collapsible barrel to be absolutely perfect. I have it round the side of the house, I hooked up the diverter to the downpipe and I am collecting twice as much water as I ever did and no overflow problems. I have enough water for my average size garden between the rains which is great. The best thing is in the cold winter months I can dry out the barrel and fold it up and store it in my basement until next Spring. Love this collapsible barrel and recommend it to all keen gardeners who care about how their garden looks.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by dudley Will not stand on its own & missing a part
As others have indicated, this product will not remain standing on its own. Heaven & Earth needs to integrate a few cross pieces to give it the needed structure. So don't buy this unless you plan to build your own structure out of PVC (at least $15 worth of parts). Even half full of water the top half was rather saggy in several spots.
Firstly one of the support legs was missing from the box. The vendor cannot ship the missing part! The only way to remedy is to return the product and hope the next one has all the parts. What a hassle!
The product also had a small leak at the bottom upon testing it.

The best part about this barrel is it's capacity, other than that it is flawed! The zipper goes off the track, the rain barrel can not stand up on it's own unless it's full. When not full, it collaspes inward on itself, spilling thr water out! It really needs a large circle ring to place under the lid to help it hold it's shape. I gave it two stars because it's better than the water going down the driveway.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by defu I gave this 3 stars because we were able to modify the problem with it colapsing by rigging a pvc frame inside which works well. The problem we are having with it is the spout where you connect the hose at the bottom leaks when you try to use it with a hose. Overall, it is not worth the price we paid for it and I would not recommend it.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pale Very useful and perfect for my uses!
I have two(2) that are both in frames as I read the description of it BEFORE orderging!! I also have it three feet (3') up so that watering cans, hoses, etc. can collect the water or disperse it! It is so easy to collect rainwater, so easy to utilize it to water ... gardens and me too on a hot day!!
