Layer for deeper than 1/4"?

Can this product be built up in layers to reach a depth of 2" and feathered to create a slope?
Asked by: Fbrille
You could do that. You may want to look into using some filler rods to minimize the amount of product, but it will work. For more info, check out www.henry.com or contact our product support at 800-486-1278. Thanks for putting your trust in the Henry Company and Home Depot.

Would this product work for sealing aluminum gutter joints that are leaking?
Asked by: Tom
Yes, this would work. If you don't want to see the product our Henry 212 Crystal Clear Sealant will also work. Another option that customers use to seal the whole inside of the gutter is our Henry 887Hs Tropi-Cool 100% Silicone Roof Sealant. For more info, check out www.henry.com or contact our product support at 800-486-1278. Thanks for putting your trust in the Henry Company and Home Depot.

can this henrry 209 be use on a PVC roof membrane ?
Asked by: amillon
No, this would not work on a PVC roof membrane. Our Henry 884 Tropi-Cool Roof Sealant or Henry 885 Tropi-Cool Roof & Seam Repair are formulated for PVC roofs. Both are white and offer Lifetime Warranties. Our Henry 900 Flashing & Construction Sealant should work too, but would recommend testing it first. It's gray in color and also offers a Lifetime warranty. For more info, check out www.henry.com or contact our product support at 800-486-1278. Thanks for putting your trust in the Henry Company and Home Depot.

Wear gloves and clothes you don't mind ruining if you use the can instead of the caulking gun cartridges. It stopped the leaks in the seams for my sunroom's roof, which is great because we had a hard rain the day after I applied it. The reason I give it a two - I picked this product specifically since it was advertised that it would remain pliable due to the rubber and would handle flexing. It's only been about 3 weeks since I applied the product and it seems to have dried hard and formed cracks in one of the seams. I'll have to go back up and do another coat of it before the next big rain.

This wet patch is not work well in wet condition. I applied to my flashing during raining and next day I took 2 spots off to inspect underneath. Well, it looks nicely firm outside but less than 50% bonded to metal. Unless you really need to apply pressure on it and go back and forth then it will bond. I had to remove all of them out and redo during dry weather. With the cost and "lifetime warranty", which I never believe in because nobody would remember what the put on after couple years. Right now, I don't know what the right product is out there would work in AZ weather.

Had a leak in ceiling that I couldn't find where it was originating for three years. Finally tracked the leak to around the chimney, water was running 15 feet from there before it leaked in the house. Researched lots of products and decided on Henry to patch around the Chimney. Spent few hours using the whole gallon around the chimney after removing the silicone caulk previous owner must have put around the chimney. Three rainstorms now and the leak is gone.... this is a great product that completely sealed up all the leaks. Make sure to wear gloves as this is like tar and you do not want to get it on your skin or clothes. You will need turpentine to clean up any mess, as this is a water proof product.

Its January 2017 and it's one rain storm after the other. So I was expecting to see a leak or two on my 1956 hone. And sure enough it happened. But I was ready. I had my gallon of Wet Patch from Henry and Henry did not let me down. I patched that leak when it stopped raining for a couple of hours and when it started to rain again, the leak was fixed. Love ya Henry !!!
