This stuff worked great to flatten out my osb floor. Had some deep valleys and this stuff filled them up and dried fast. Mixed it in five gallon bucket with my drill and dumped it on the floor. I then used a 2x4 to screed it and level my floor. It had some ridges and bumps in it from incomplete mixing and the screening, but I just let the stuff set up for like 45 minutes and then scraped the high spots with a flat blade trowl. Now it is perfectly smoothe...and FLAT!!! This stuff sets up quick so be ready to rock and roll once it is all mixed up...when your done rinse your bucket with your hose outside while it is still wet....once it is dry it's like concrete.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Jack good product, but only needed small amount
Good product, difficult to mix to a smooth consort, but worked well, used to fill small holes and cracks in bathroom floor before installing vinyl flooring, also leveled some depressions. Dried quickly, which I liked, would recomend.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Randy very bad experiance
i watched all the videos on self leveling products and all of them show people just pouring the compound on the floor and spreading it without out any trouble. the stuff is supposed to spread nicely but this stuff didn't even pour out of the bucket. I used exactly 4qts of water to a 25 lb bag as the directions said. mixed it up with the drill and paddle I bought and I tell you I've done a lot of my own work and this stuff bites. tried to smooth it with trowel and it stuck to the trowel. I finally got fed up and took my flat shovel and scooped it back in the bucket and threw the whole thing in the garbage. I bought 2 bags of the stuff and I'm taking the second bag back to home depot. I'm afraid to go and get some other stuff. home depot only sells this kind and another brand both quick drying. I do not recommend doing your floor with this stuff. I do not like this stuff.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DoctorDIY Great product, easy to work with
The product was was to mix, and so long as you worked quickly, it went on well and set-up quickly. Easy to trowel to smooth finish. I would recommend using this to fill gaps and small holes in subfloor before installing laminate or adhesive tile. Caution: it sets up like concrete in 20 minutes so work with only the amount you can do in 10-15 minutes.

I see nothing on the wwhenry website, in tech info or MSDS sheet. that mentions any polymer, co-polymer or otherwise used in this 547 product. I do see this in their 549 FeatherFinish product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cheyenne Worked exactly as described.
It's wrong to call the Ease of Installation 'poor'. The very nature of this product makes installation difficult.
There's no way around that. It takes proper equipement to mix it, apply it, level it.
But - the results are first rate, the curing time reliable and the finished substrate absolutely ideal for further processing.
I've used this product before, always with success. All Henry products are more expensive than the competition.
They also work exactly as described. I've never once had a call-back because a Henry product failed. That's worth the extra cost.
I can't pretend, though, that installation is for anyone who doesn't want to read and follow instructions exactly. Nor is it a task for someone without a fair amount of muscle. I'm in my fifties and have been doing this for decades. If you're a novice, I'd definitely ask a woman or man who's done it before to guide you or you may well learn why the Romans built with cement.
It's forever. Right or wrong.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SmithBros One of the best Patches on the market
This patch is polymer modified which gives it some flexibility and is cementious based. Although it is labeled as Henry, it is made by Ardex, an excellent and reputable company who bought out Henry a number of years ago. Henry also had an excellent reputation, so it was a good fit. This type patch is recommended by most floor material manufactures as a preparation for substrates. It is meant for subtle imperfections in concrete or wood subfloors and feathers out to about 1/32". The drying time varies on humidity, temperature and thickness of the application. Generally in about 1 hour. I believe it's good to a thickness of up to 1/2". If it's applied thicker than that it will probably crack. It is important to follow the water to powder ratios to achieve the correct strength and performance but is very forgiving when mixed adhoc. The working time also varies when mixed with more or less water, you usually only get 15-20 minutes of working time. So only make as much as you can spread within that time frame. Make sure you clean your tools and buckets immediately, as this stuff dries very hard and will require mechanical removal if left to dry on your tools and bucket.
