Our kitchen floor has three different coverings on it--bare subfloor, places where the homeowner tried to level it years ago, and sheet vinyl. There was nothing on the bags or these reviews that said "don't use over vinyl" so we just primed and used the LevelPro over everything. Where it was wood or even the existing self-leveler, it worked GREAT. Where it was over vinyl we got huge bubbling and warping. We have to break it up and pull it up, including the vinyl, and do it over. But we WILL do it over using the same product because it works like it's supposed to when you use it over wood. For 160 square feet of kitchen we ended up using 12 bags and 4 people. It went very quickly.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by MitchF What a great product
I only had a small 3' X 7' area to fill over the mat and wiring of a heated bathroom floor. I laid Hardiboard around the perimeter to keep a scree board flat. Easy mixing in a plastic waste basket (I was too cheap to purchase a 5 gallon bucket) using a paddle in my cordless drill. Poured out the mix (you only have 10 minutes before it begins to set). The instructions predicted a pancake consistency with 5 quarts of water but it seemed a bit runnier than that. All turned out well as the material flowed smoothly and dried very flat. The schree board helped move the mix down the area to uncovered areas, but was not that necessary. I was about 10 pounds shy of my goal and had to run to the local Ace Hardware for a 10 pound pail of a different brand. That material mixed easier (1/4 the volume too) but did not flow as well, but seemed to mix with my 50 minute old pour. The Henry product produced a better and very level floor.

Used three bags of this to try to level my 123 sq ft home office. Depending on project size, be sure you have enough man power to get this properly mixed, poured, and spread. My father and I did not have any additional help. Either we didn't mix it long enough or we didn't use enough water. Some tips online suggest to add the powder to the water a little at a time as you mix it. Had we had another person to do this and hold the bucket (It spun out of control and flung product all over my bathroom - but I will say it wipes up easily), I think it would have mixed better. The 10 minute set up time makes it ridiculous to try to mix and apply. The good thing is that you can pour one section, let set up, prime the adjacent edge and pour another section. I think we would have been better off had we done this also.
Also .... Frog Painters Tape is not a good tape to use to cover seams/holes. We had areas pucker up and crack the product. Might be a better practice to caulk the holes or seams before priming.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JoJo Henry Floor leveler works great
I used about 25 bags of this leveler at my cottage to remedy several rooms with uneven floors. It's easy to mix with a 5 gallon bucket, garden hose and mixing paddle. I found that mixing it to the consistency of cake mix works best. Pour it at the top of the slanted floors and let it "self level" to the lower part of the room. I would suggest using OSB boards on the floor first if you're trying to raise the floors more than 1 1/2". That way, you won't use as much leveler because it's fairly expensive compared to other levelers.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by eddie floor leveler....can be good
I just talked to my knowledgeable floor installers about this product. Since it is cement based...they said do NOT use on raised wood floors because it breaks/crumbles. That make sense...since wood floors flex.

I'm no carpenter, but I can do all things in Christ who strengthens me. Follow directions and you will get a solid level floor. Extra help is a plus, and a heavy duty drill.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SecretAgentAbe Easy To Use but not meant for Asbestos Tile Floors
I bought this product to go over a worn out asbestos tile from the 1950's. This stuff is easy to mix and apply and did an amazing job leveling out my floor. The problem was it started to peal up the next day. I called the company's tech support department and they confirmed that their product is not designed to work on asbestos tile. Even if I had used their primer product (which I didn't) it still wouldn't work according to Tech Support
t wish their bag and or web site said this product can't be used on Asbestos. The downside is I bought and applied over 7 bags of this stuff. And granted now I can't get my money back.
If I had a concrete or wood subfloor to level I would surely use this product.
