Nice compact product, just what I needed in the laundry room. The only downside are the hinges; they are flimsy.

The ironing board is good quality. the hinges are a little light but seem to hold fine. it was easy to install and the instructions were easy to follow. Not a high end product but good for the price.

We have very little space in our house for a full-sized floor standing ironing board. The wall mounted ironing center has been the perfect solution. It looks good and matches the existing white cabinetry in our house. It was extremely easy to install. The extra features are also nice, like the storage shelf with the heat shield to prevent the wood from getting burned when the iron is stored while still hot and the garment hook on the door for hanging clothes while ironing.

Ironing board fit perfectly between the studs, just as it says. It is plenty sturdy; you don't need to push THAT hard on the end of any ironing board. The metal guard works great when I want to close the door with an iron that is still warm. It looks awesome in my walk-in closet (although, it is laminate finish, if that bothers anyone). I think it looks polished and nice; just be aware that it is not pure wood. Plenty of room to iron clothes and you can adjust the height on the wall to where you like. Home Depot had the best price I could find for this product!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Oldprograndma Just what I wanted
We just received my new in wall ironing board and I'm dying to try it. All the pieces were there but the hinges are a bit weak. It's an easy fix. We haven't installed it yet but I'm looking forward to being a domestic goddess when it's all done. The white frame is exactly what I wanted and I'm sure it will look great on the wall in the near future. I like the fact that it swivels in both directions since I'm left handed.

First off, this unit looks like it is made of white-finish particle board with cheap soft wood veneers on the inside. It is made in China and has Chinese writing all over it on the back and sides. None of the white "boards" (I guess press board is still a board) that make up the external frame were cut right, so it has gaps at all the edges where they meet, especially with the part that goes inside the wall. It looked like it was thrown together quickly. Luckily, the bottom board edges of the part that stays outside the wall after installation are really the only ones that have gaps at the corners that normal-height people can see once you get the unit in the wall, so it looks okay if you don't look really closely at it after installed.
Cutting the hole in the drywall the right size and screwing the unit to the studs was the easy part. But the hinges that came with the unit are terrible. I followed the instructions exactly installing the door and hinges, but it would bind when closing because of the cheap plastic half of the hinges that are supposed to keep the door closed. If I got it to close, it would make a horrible cracking sound when doing so and then would pop back open a quarter inch and stay that way. I called the manufacturer at the phone number in the instructions, and they told me to just tinker with the hinges and try to fix it. They said that new hinges would not be any better than the ones I had. So, I tried moving them slightly up and down, in and out, for a couple of hours and made dozens of screw holes. I finally gave up and bought some really nice hinges in the cabinet hardware section of the local Home Depot for less than three bucks that work perfectly. Now, I just have to fill in all these holes from the junky hinges that came with the unit.
Once it is installed and has working hinges that actually close and stay closed and the wall covers up most of the gaps and bad framing, it looks acceptable. I don't think I would buy this again for how much it cost. I could make one myself using real wood for less and wish I had done so.

installation was fairly easy, staples are sticking out in the back needed to remove them before installing. plastic lamination covering on the door is peeling off. the shaft that moves up and down in the groove for the ironing board is missing the bushings at the ends of pipe. causing it to cut and hang up. no quality control here.
