They are somewhat denser than you might find in a hospital but not so heavy that you lose the sensation of touch. I have used them for a few things: oil changes (I always double glove), painting and stripping paint and I use them at work where I am a first-responder. I am confident that these gloves will protect me from blood borne pathogens though they are not rated for that purpose. At work I also double glove my hands. These are Nitrile so you do not have to worry about latex allergies and they are also not powdered so your hand doesn't come out covered in dust.

These are good quality gloves, ideal for any situation where you want to keep chemicals or grime off your hands while working. The slide on relatively easily, and fit my hands well enough. I mostly use nitrile gloves like these while applying finishes to wood. They keep everything from polyurethane to lacquer off my hands, and make clean up a snap. It's nice to get them in black so you don't look like a proctologist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best I've ever used I purchased nitrile gloves in the past, but these stand up. What makes them unique is the textured fingers of the gloves. This enables to use the gloves in a number of situations where handling small objects is not a problem. I put them to different situations and each time they came out on top. These are non-latex that are not intended to provide a chemical barrier or protection against all chemical compounds.

You might want to consider one size larger than you think you need. The finger tips have a slight extra texture that allows gripping items a bit easier. These gloves also have an acceptable length over the wrist area as well. I found them to be easy to remove when done. Finger dexterity and feel were not affected by these gloves either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Wrong description, but good gloves. There was evidently a problem with the description of this it... Wrong description, but good gloves. There was evidently a problem with the description of this item. They were supposed to be Medium, but instead we received size XL (Extra Large). For our purposes, this was not a major hurdle, although we had hoped to try the medium size to see how it fit on my wife’s hands. I have fairly big hands, and the XL’s were even a bit of a sloppy fit on me. If I were to buy these for myself, I’d try to get L’s for me, and probably M’s for my wife. The 2nd problem with the description is that it said 200-Count per Box, but we received two boxes of 100 each. Again, not a big deal, and it might help to not have the 2nd box opened until it is needed. Despite these minor description issues, we tried a couple of household projects where we wanted to keep some kind of stuff off our hands, but still have some feel and control. My wife put them to work scrubbing some tile and grout using a cleaner that the safety sheet indicated could cause skin irritation or burns. The gloves are ambidextrous (will fit either hand), but do not come up much past one’s wrist. They weren’t too thin or too thick, and still allowed good tactile control. Most importantly, they stood up to the back and forth motions of scrubbing and wiping cleaner from the floor without tearing, and kept my wife’s hands well protected. I’d call that a win, and they absolutely served their purpose. They are also listed as Power-Free Nitrile Examination Gloves, and no hint of powder was detected. Since they are Nitrile, they are Latex-free, which can be very important to the growing number of people who, like me, are either Latex-sensitive or outright allergic. The box indicates that the fingers are textured, but to me the fingers didn’t feel any different than the palms or backs of the gloves. If they are textured, it’s very slight and hard to tell from the normal creases of being stuffed into a box. Nevertheless, they gripped well and were not slippery to use. I also tried my own project, getting some silicone caulking around a dryer vent opening. The opening was in a VERY awkward position, and I literally could not fit the tube of caulking around the vent opening where I wanted it. Instead, I slipped on a pair of these, and applied small gobs of the clear silicone to my index finger on the glove. I could then work my finger into the seam where the vent met up with the hole cut in the wood. Despite running into a few wood splinters, the gloves held up well, and I didn’t get any silicone on me. Again, some people are sensitive or allergic to silicone, so I was very happy not to get it on my skin. Overall, these gloves seem like they would be a wonderful thing to have on hand for household, shop, and automotive use. They seem quite rugged, and offer good protection – just don’t expect your arm to be covered, too. We would have liked to test the actual size that was advertised, but given how these performed overall, perhaps we will simply go buy a box of mediums for my wife, and I’ll use these up. I’d recommend these to others, and they seem to be a very durable, high-quality glove. I have not compared prices to see how these compare, but the cost per glove seems pretty low. Thumbs up!
