Probably a silly question, but first timer here... Looking at the picture here, it looks like this comes 2 per pack.. Is that really the case 2 sheets for less than $10, or does is the picture just getting my hopes up?

Hang over Beaverboard?

This question is from 1/2 in. x 4 ft. x 8 ft. High Strength Lite Gypsum Board

Can this be used to put over old, sagging Beaverboard (1940s fiberboard for walls and ceilings)? I have a finished attic with Beaverboard for the walls and ceiling, and the ceiling boards are sagging a bit. It's an aesthetic not functional problem. If I can avoid ripping everything out (roof insulation is right behind the Beaverboard), I'd like to, and am wondering if this is lightweight yet strong enough to place directly over the Beaverboard, nailing into the trusses, to shore it up. Is there any reason this is a bad idea?

Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by pre printed markings The pre-printed marking at 16" and 24" on this drywall saved me lots of time on the install and was a pleasant surprise. Also being made in Michigan was an extra bonus. I am very happy with this product and will look for it in the future on my next project August 18, 2014
