Product Overview

This Hitachi kit includes the NV65AH and EC89. The NV65AH Siding Nailer another very light nailer, the NV65AH is a well-engineered tool. It's packed with great features like a tool-less depth adjustment and a 360-degree exhaust diverter. It will feed either wire- or plastic-collated nails. It also ships with a non-marring tip. 2-1/2 in. Coil Siding Nailer and 4 gal. Portable Air Compressor Kit (2-Piece) is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 41.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Small Compressor This is a very nice unit for a small compressor. Everything is tight and there are no leaks. Regulator works well. Well constructed. Should last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great compressor Haven't used it a lot, just a trim nailer and Palm nailer. It's quiet, which is great. The only thing I would say that's bad is it's heavy. But hopefully that means it's built well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This is one serious tool! It is by far my favorite of my 20 some air nailers. I am a professional contractor and I bought this nailer well used from another builder, and it is still packing a huge punch. The nails cost me about $80 a case, but the coils go a long way. The price of the gun is substantial, but it will give you years of trouble free use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome with one exception This gun works great once you get the right depth set . Light weight. The one exception would that the gun should have come with the single fire trigger. You just have to remember to let go of trigger when nailing material otherwise it will fire more than once. It also would have been nice if it had come with a case.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great shop tool. Very pleased with the compressor. However, I was dismayed when I read in the owners manual that it was to be used for nailers and similar tools. This was not mentioned when I bought it. I assume this is because it is not rated for continuous duty. I decided the way I use it for general use in my woodworking shop will be ok. It will not be used for continuous duty. So far no problem.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from No good I used to be a believer in Hitachi Tools ... If this unit is not repaired or replaced I will badmouth them every chance I get . This is the second one of these I've had , I returned it for the same exact reason!!! this is a common problem with the motor on these compressors ....according to numerous other reviews I've read.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coil nails should be standard in the industry. I got two of these Hitachi nailers for a cedar shingle job. As long as we used the Hitachi stainless coil nails they performed excellently. When we couldn't get them and bought off brand coil nails they kept shooting two nails and jamming up. We were sure it was the coil wrap and overnight more Hitachi nails and the problem seems to have stopped. We made a wire loop to hang them from our tool belts to keep them out of the dirt.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The product is light and easy to use I have had the gun for about three weeks, it worked just fine but after two weeks one of screws holding the dust cover on feel off and was lost.Last week an o-ring or a seal went out on it and was leaking air." This is not the first air gun I have owned,I have many, it was oiled every day." The gun has been in a repair shop for a week. I've had to borrow a gun to finish the job.
