Customer Reviews

2-1/2 in. Siding Coil Nailer with Safety Glasses and 3-Hex Bar Wrenches is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 27.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing This is one serious tool! It is by far my favorite of my 20 some air nailers. I am a professional contractor and I bought this nailer well used from another builder, and it is still packing a huge punch. The nails cost me about $80 a case, but the coils go a long way. The price of the gun is substantial, but it will give you years of trouble free use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome with one exception This gun works great once you get the right depth set . Light weight. The one exception would that the gun should have come with the single fire trigger. You just have to remember to let go of trigger when nailing material otherwise it will fire more than once. It also would have been nice if it had come with a case.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Coil nails should be standard in the industry. I got two of these Hitachi nailers for a cedar shingle job. As long as we used the Hitachi stainless coil nails they performed excellently. When we couldn't get them and bought off brand coil nails they kept shooting two nails and jamming up. We were sure it was the coil wrap and overnight more Hitachi nails and the problem seems to have stopped. We made a wire loop to hang them from our tool belts to keep them out of the dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding tool I used this coil siding mailer to replace 207' of fence. The tool worked well and only had 1 malfunction and that was it shot 2 nails at once, I think this might of been an operator error on my part since this is my first time using the tool. The tool is solidly built, easy to use and felt really comfortable in my hands. Looking forward to using this tool when I build my 10'X12' shed with sidings.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The product is light and easy to use I have had the gun for about three weeks, it worked just fine but after two weeks one of screws holding the dust cover on feel off and was lost.Last week an o-ring or a seal went out on it and was leaking air." This is not the first air gun I have owned,I have many, it was oiled every day." The gun has been in a repair shop for a week. I've had to borrow a gun to finish the job.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from The This product functions great. The siding nailer works well, is light weight, and does not jam, like the one did I replaced this one with. Hoever, through no fault of the gun, the nails come out of the plastic strips and jam the gun. I really don't know what to do about the nails. If there is a need for improvement it is to add a hook to hang the gun with.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding tool! Have had this nailer for seven years now, great for cedar shakes, wood planking and the like. Costs a lot of money, but it is well worth it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is flat out dependable! Three years ago I purchased this same compressor for an alternate easy to load and move around. I found that I used it as much or more as my larger compressor. I was able to frame, trim and use select shop tools without delay. I have just purchased 2 more of these compressors do to company expansion. I could not find them in stores so I located them on Home Depot web site and ordered them. With the tank size this compressor is not for any application but for its size it has served me well.
