2-Piece 3-1/2 in. Paper Collated Framing Nailer and 15-Gauge x 2-1/2 in. Angled Finish Nailer with Air Duster Kit is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 116.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far, great Used for the first time today.Worked very well, drove 1 1/4 " nails below the surface. I did have a couple of instances where the nailer would not fire---After rechecking the manual, i believe it was because i had the pressure set too low(below 60 lbs in both cases.) Like i said earlier, this was the first time I used it and am still learning the features--looks like its going to work just fine!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Constant jams My Finishing nailer is only two years old with about 2 - 3 hours use. Followed directions meticulously. Nail jams are constant to the point I have stopped using it. Replacement part of Driver Blade costs 1/2 of purchase price. Not recommended even though I decided on this model due to great reviews.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far a good little nailer Licensed contractor, been using a NR83 for over 10 years and have put up countless houses with the same gun. Its getting tired, so decided to get another gun as backup; was hesitant to change, but decided its a little lighter and smaller and Im not getting any younger. Have had it for about a month now, so far its been flawless, same Hitachi quality, the smaller size was nice on a recent job puttin in roof blocks between rafters. If this thing last as long as my old NR83 I will be very happy. Only bad thing I can say is it doesnt have a rafter hook, but you can buy them for about $15...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Flawless Sparked at first but settled in and worked perfectly. I am midway on two thousand feet of oak hardwood flooring. It replaced my old Senco and is nearly as good, even new Senco is not the old Senco.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Hitachi Nail Gun This is a great product, I have been very happy with mine, I have used it many large projects as the single nail gun to nail a lot of sheathing as well as 3 1/2" nails for studs and other heavy nails, it has always performed flawlessly, I dont know what people are talking about it not feeding, I have used mine in every position imaginable with no issues, maybe they got a bad one, love the plastic collated nails so much better than wire, I definitely would buy this one again and would also like to have the NR83 so I dont have to switch out nail strips as much, I love how lightweight this nailer is

Rated 2 out of 5 by from HITACHI'S CORVAIR Like the guy on 3/15 said, lots of jamming and feeding problems. I have been using Hitachis only for the past 35 years and bought this one for the flush nailer, that part I like. Don't know why they changed the design, but missed the boat on this one. As long as you are nailing flat or down it seems to work OK. Nailing vertical I have found that I can only load one strip of nails at a time. I you are only using it part time or not professionally it works fine. But you can't beat the nr83. Someone is probably still using the ones that they stole from me over 20 years ago that had well over a million nails through them.
