Galvanized stapler is a great timesaver on a farm dealing with chicken wire and fence wire. Speeds up the job tremendously over hammer in staples.. Shoots a very heavy duty galvanized staple from 1 to 2"" long with no problem.

I used to be a believer in Hitachi Tools ...
If this unit is not repaired or replaced I will
badmouth them every chance I get . This is the second one of these I've had , I returned it for the same exact reason!!! this is a common problem with the motor on these compressors ....according to numerous other reviews I've read.

Three years ago I purchased this same compressor for an alternate easy to load and move around. I found that I used it as much or more as my larger compressor. I was able to frame, trim and use select shop tools without delay. I have just purchased 2 more of these compressors do to company expansion. I could not find them in stores so I located them on Home Depot web site and ordered them. With the tank size this compressor is not for any application but for its size it has served me well.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by longhair GREAT when it works
this stapler built pretty solide. I generally like hitachi but was a little disappointed with this. I have to dry fire the thing for a good 30 seconds just to get it to work. after that the thing works great. also when it was cold out, the thing would not work. i had to keep it in the truck with me so it would warm up on the way to work. that or I'd have to take a heat gun to it to warm it up enough so it would start to work. but once the stapler got going it was great. very ergonomic and user friendly just had to get the thing warmed up.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BERNARD1 This sheeting stapler works great
I have used Paslode products in the past. I have been slowly changing most of my air tools & drills over to Hitachi. My new sheeting stapler does not miss a beat. My Paslode sheeting stapler miss fires quite often & is especially bad considering it is a fairly new gun. The new Sheeting stapler works GREAT. I also bought another Coil siding nailer to add to the other one I have. They work great installing Hardie siding,

Very pleased with the compressor. However, I was dismayed when I read in the owners manual that it was to be used for nailers and similar tools. This was not mentioned when I bought it. I assume this is because it is not rated for continuous duty. I decided the way I use it for general use in my woodworking shop will be ok. It will not be used for continuous duty. So far no problem.

I am a beekeeper and make a few hundred boxes a month. Hoping this lasts years. Pleasure to use, ergonomic and sinks staples. I really like the balance of this gun and how it feels in my hands. I try to make boxes in batches. Secures them beautifully. Wish I bought it years ago.

We got this model a week ago and have used it continuously without a single jam. We've only used Hitachi staples so far so that could be part in it. It's accurate, smooth, quiet, and puts the staples right on target at 80 lbs pressure. We have every stapler there is and all of them eventually need service so what's new about that? This Hitachi is really saving us a lot of time and it's so smooth we waste staples just having fun using it.
